I guess it's webp or something? I can view them in my browser.
I had to rename them in jpg so i could view them and there were at least 250+ images in total. Anyway, big hassle for nothing, since most of them are character's facial reactions.

This game has some very excellent qualities, but unfortunately, it also has some glaringly awful qualities.

The good: The initial presentation is great. The renders are better than many games. The little things like the characters blinking really added to the ambiance. I also enjoyed how each character got their own little introduction with their name flashed on the screen when we first see them. As of yet, the code seems to have no bug in it. So it's a game presented very nicely, with good graphics, and it's properly coded. What could possibly be bad about it with all of these good things I have to say about it?

The bad: The writing... The Engrish is very strong in this game. I can forgive a bit of Engrish if it's otherwise written well. Is it otherwise written well? No... not at all. The main protagonist character is far too much of a white knight putting the pussy up on a pedestal... At the same time right out of the gates he is whiny and putting other guys down. Not only is he this level of cringe but he is inconsistent in his character completely. He completely objectifies women at every moment and treats other guys like they are all "bad guys". For instance, he has a crush on a girl. He has been in her class for FOUR YEARS... FOUR LONG YEARS HE HAS HAD A CRUSH ON THIS GIRL. Yet he never walked up and started a conversation with her... Not once in four years. When he talks to her it's like she doesn't even know his name and barely recognizes him. Well, this girl just so happens to be dating another guy for four years at the same time. So maybe he respected that, but whatever. Anyways this girl he has been crushing on for four years that has been dating this other guy for FOUR YEARS... It's the last day of high school. She dumps this guy she was dating from the start of high school on the last day of high school... Her reason for dumping him? "You got a small dick. You are rude sometimes, your father has money, and I want a real man, besides you never hold my hand so fuck off I hate you now." Wow... that is fucking harsh... fucking brutal a terrible way of dumping someone right in the middle of a crowded hallway in front of everyone... So the guy she just dumped is like ."You know what. You are a bitch." Oh shit here it comes... oh shit... oh no... Here comes our protagonist... Our protagonist responds in a way as if this guy was attempted to rape her... Our character is now like WHAT!? did he just call her a bitch how dare he! He should be down on the floor licking her boots! He grabs the guy by the shirt while he is minding his own damn business talking to his girlfriend... So after getting grabbed by the shirt and pushed by our protagonist this guy with tears in his eyes after having his heart just ripped out... He is like fuck it why not and takes a single swing on our protagonist... And our protagonist proceeds to dodge the punch and beat his ass... And now the girl is in love with our protagonist... Also he still don't man up and ask her out... Fucker waits for her to ask him out like a little bitch. So our protagonist is done with that shit and wanders around... Comes across another chick proceeds to talk shit about the dude who he beat up and gets her to ask him out too! what the fuck guy? then goes to some coffee shop or whatever and finds a lottery ticket... Guess what it's not in the game yet, but I can tell you with 100% certainty it's going to be a winning lottery ticket or else why put a lottery ticket in the story like that... Anyways at the coffee shop we run into some blue-haired chick and she drag the protagonist into the back room and pulls his pants down... TLDR the writing sucks
I don't think the writing is as bad as you claim but it could be improved in some areas.

Look I want to give the developer a break because it's just the first episode, and now he has time to correct things. The intro he used at the beginning of the game is better than some of the games on this site that get 5 stars. He just has to flesh out these characters more in the future and this project will be fine. Writing is a process and just because it isn't at the quality of a $20,000 month patron juggernaut who hires several proofreaders doesn't mean it all "sucks".

With that being said I am still looking forward to the next episode. Keep at it RedWhite(y)

Seriously don't get some of the ultra-positive reviews and posts here.

This game looks good, but that's about all and it's worth nothing compared to the obvious problems.

And a big fuck you to this bullshit about this being the devs first try and going easy on him.

Does it help him if we lie and tell him everything is great? Will he get better if we as the players don't tell him what is wrong or where the problems are? Like hell it will and like hell he will.

The best way to help a fledgling dev is to be honest and try to give constructive criticism.

In this vein, do what I mentioned in my review. Get an editor, a better translator, perhaps even someone to write your story for you.
Allow skipping of unseen text, even if it's just to make replaying it less of a chore and make the intro skippable, same as in-game videos. I'm sure you had your reasons for doing them and they don't look bad , but that doesn't mean people should be forced to watch them each time they open the game.

And for fuck's sake people, don't give games five stars based on how much you like the dev or what you hope they will be one day. You can always go and change a review if the game gets better, but giving five stars for a game with flaws as severe as this one takes the whole review system ad absurdum.

I try to keep a positive outlook on things but with some constructive criticism. You did make a good suggestion with the skip button and unseen text. But I've never said anything about lying to the dev about issues and I also didn't say everything about the game was great. I guess some people (you included) expect a new developer to be near perfect his first try and I don't. I'm sticking by what I said and I expect you will do the same.

But if you truly want the developer to get an editor, translator, and story writer maybe you can come up with the cash to do so. A good writing staff doesn't just grow on trees because somebody has to pay for them. Lastly, let's try to stay civilized and keep the FUs down to a minimum and here I thought that's what PMs are for :ROFLMAO:.

I don't think he was talking about you though. Very early on I already had a feeling with this thread would raise some red flags. Maybe it's just cheerleaders flying over from some other place, but the sudden influx of barely active users that suddenly flood the reviews with overly positive reviews was a bit weird to see. Especially for a first release of a new dev.
In the end it kinda does the opposite of helping in more ways then one.

If you dont get the reviews better double check the users who made them... ;) and what they wrote in there... it looks like the same story that happened with another game... Room for rent i think it was called (maybe i'm mistaken)

TBH, I think what we see here is a manipulation based on nationality. If you look at the overly positive reviews (several of which have already been removed) and reactions in the thread here, it becomes quite clear that most of them were made by Turkish nationals, which coincidentally is the nationality of the dev.
Turks for the most are very patriotic and proud, so that is what I see as the reason for so many unqualified positive reactions made by people who haven't posted before or very rarely posted before, weird as it sounds.

This is an adult forum, I'll write fuck as often as I want to.
My post wasn't directed at any single person, if it was, just like with this one, I would have quoted a specific post I was reacting to.
No, it was a reaction to the posts in the whole thread which were a) praising too much, without any logic or substance behind it and b) which were way too forgiving of the game's faults.

I don't expect a new dev to be perfect, but releasing a game in this state? It might be better not to do that, until you fix stuff like the translation.
By your logic does that mean new games have to be badly written, because the dev can't hire staff or that I should give a dev I don't know money for a game that I think is bad?
What about the many, many devs who manage to do better with their first try? Doesn't it make sense to judge a game based on what creators like Philly, Pinkcakes, Cheekygimp, Perverteer and so many others managed with their first attempt, instead of judging it by the standard "it's a new dev, so no matter how bad it is, don't write anything negative?"

The problem with the approach to cut a dev some slack is that it solves nothing. Yes, he or she might not get an emotional boo-boo, but the game stays as bad as it is, the dev will get no support and the game will probably never be finished.
Nowadays we take too much care not to hurt someone's feelings, but sometimes feelings HAVE to be hurt, so that someone can grow beyond his current level.
Mind you, I don't set out to hurt anyone's feelings, but I will write what I think needs to be written and given that this is the creative baby of the dev, of course most will be hurt in some sense, the wise ones will see beyond that hurt and look at the criticism to find where they can and should improve.

End of rant. *drops mike
