I am really surprised that it took so long for this to happen, given the animosity that some have toward this game.

The developers should have expected this to happen eventually though, and I hope they already have at least a plan in place that can be implemented. I realize that it won't be as simple as just substituting 'roommate' for 'brother' and 'sister'.

I guess the easiest way would be to have a backstory of one of them being adopted at an early age. That should satisfy Patreon and not take too long to code. They can still call themselves brother and sister, just not blood-related any more. Any reference to them being twins, though, would need to be scrubbed. I wish it was that simple but from the last "trust and safety" thing i recall seeing from a dev on this site Patreon is draconian when it comes to even not blood related extended family, including but not limited to adopted. i wish i could recall which game thread i saw this in last but it also tried to clear the hurdle by saying adopted and that was rejected.

From a practical viewpoint however I think a too elaborated explanation of who Haley is might cause new problems for the devs. Well, not obstacles as such, but time consumers. Usually it is easiest to define two or three tags explaining the relationship and then just switch them out with a minor patch ("Oh, my sockholder is in the kitchen" turns to "Oh, my sister is in the kitchen"). Everything beyond that, like a detailed explanation for something that players ideally ignore, possibly including renders, will take up time.

It is 0-1 in my playthrough. I have muffin path with Sandra and only-Haley path.

Other women? I do not care and I know I am not only one here in this thread. So If you want MC to be as much committed to relationship as Haley is, you can take relevant decisions. There is no official canon. You can create your own, stick with it and ignore manslut MC that other have.

So let me get this straight... EVERYONE watched Game of Thrones that has incest in the most diferent ways and then someone decided to call Patreon because this VN(Virtual Novel) has incest??????

Despite their completely fine legality in US law, step-siblings are still considered incest by patreon.

In regards to everything else, if he hasn't had something on hot standby for a while now, Pto's clearly clueless and has no idea what he's doing.

Also, great to see the thread back to its normal level of animosity. Personally, I've missed it.

Despite their completely fine legality in US law, step-siblings are still considered incest by patreon.

Fortunately, I wasn't talking about step-siblings, but adopted siblings, where one of them is not related by blood to the other or either of the parents.

EDIT: If Patreon still has a problem with that, one of them could come from close family friends who strangely disappear without warning, leaving their child parentless. Mom and Dad could take that child in and care for it (but not adopt it), while the search goes on for the friends. Basically, there are ways.
