I'm not sure how realistic a medieval game with panties and pajamas is and there's a LOT wrong with how the daily life is portrayed (at least he tries, he gets it about right more often than not), I just play it with "heck, why not" in mind.

Its way more realistic than normal people sudenly getting a random antagonist trying to screw your life over for no reason other than the story writer sucking at creating real situations

This VN novel isnt historically accurate, but its more realistic than the vast majority of games on this site

I find the story ok, but some of the dialogs are among the most stupid ones I have read so far (and I play DOAXVV, so that does mean something )
But even if it has some shortcomings, it's entertaining however. The good thing about these games is that one can just skip/fast forward the stuf fhe doesn't like and go on.

I'm trying real hard to stay interested but for a while now its kinda become pointless, inane dialogue simulator.

'omg, a fruit bowl'
'I think I'll have some fruit'

sure, but why are you telling me these things?

'We should play cards'
'Do you know where the cards are?'

'Yes, I know where the cards are'
'Should I go get the cards?'

No, bitch, don't get the cards, despite this whole conversation I think we should just leave them where they are ...

'lets put the books on the table so we don't forget'

as opposed to what? were you going to chuck them in the fire otherwise? throw them on the floor?

Then to top that scene off the write includes "you put your book on top of Cathy's" ... why is this text? there is whole render to show exactly where it was placed.

and it goes on like that for some time just repeating in text the exact thing the renders show.
A large part of the actual point of a VN is that you don't have to describe each scene because its right there in the images.


Also just FYI, not having pumpkins to make soup is like the least problematic problem to have, since just like sweet potato and cherry tomatoes, pumpkin grows like a weed.
I know this is kinda of trivial but thats the level of drama we've got to work with so not much I can do about that.

2. if answer is yes then how on earth do you think that incest would fit in? cathy is mc's wife (and has been for years) and atm she's expecting their 1st child (we might see birth in end scenes), alice is other knight's out-of-marriage daughter and lydia is orphan who became cathy's servant and if she was mc's daughter doubt she had been orphaned.
3. if you haven't then play and you'll see that incest is totally out of question.

That matches my thoughts somehow. It gets even worse if 3 persons are involved.
At some point I was like: If I have to read "cute" one more time ....

and it goes on and on and on. It's sometimes like letting Siri talk to Alexa and have Cortana join them.
Of course I exagerated a bit here, sometimes they DO say something else in between.

Just relax. As I already said, I have fun with this game. I wouldn't bother to write if it hadn't. I certainly won't come here and yell "The game is bad! The dev is stupid! Everyting here sucks!". That would do no good at all.
Some stuff is just .. let's say a little over the top and maybe good for a laugh if pointed out.
