Actually it was marked abandoned after a long campaign of some people on F95 demanding it, followed by Moron's going over to BlueCats Discord with the support of many here to be abusive until they got banned.
Explains why no one over here seem to have realised the alpha was released to high tier patreons a few days ago. guess blueCat going out of his way to avoid some here getting it for as long as possible.

We didn't demand the tag, we demanded action. The tag was put on the game, because bluecat did nothing for 18 months. If the mods had listened to us, it would have been tagged over a year ago. And while it was late, the tag stirred up enough fear in bluecat over losing money that he did something

And so we're going to get a money driven, completely broken, mostly disabled update in google translated Engrish so the game can be untagged for another 18 months. I guess that's better than nothing. You're welcome

It wasn't him losing money that caused him to start working. He was already losing thousands before the tag even got close. I think what it was is that this site gains him patrons, so if the tag is added people see that and don't sub, so he was losing out on future or would-be money. Now we'll get this half-assed update to get the tag off and go back to 18 months, rinse, repeat. Huh, I guess technically losing future money is losing money, so your right.


This is a little off topic but is anyone else having problems with this site? It added Neko Paradise to my watched list, then it removed it later. The day before it added another one but I removed it. Anyone else encountering this? Ok, I just looked at Neko page and it says I'm watching it but its not in my watched threads. What the fuck?! Lol, i see lots of women...be it at work (we run a woman shelter), training (okay, better said in the showers, i always get my ass kicked if i distract the girls) or in private (from random encounters to regulars at our orgies). Yes. This exactly. 18 months of rest and relaxation for Bluecat while he raked in thousands a month for vague, meaningless, statements and zero actual work, from anyone on the dev team

You have to be very, very, naive to think that it is a coincidence that Bluecat suddenly showed some progress, after 18 months without a single preview image, line of dialog, or a single detail about the plot, shortly after Ecchi Sensei got the abandoned tag here. I think is is clear that the game being listed as abandoned , caused Bluecat to fear that his money train would dry up soon, and decided to actually open up the ol' dusty archives on his PC and actually work on the game, so he could release something to get the abandoned tag removed.

I only wish it could have happened a year ago, when it was clear to just about everyone, barring a few fanboys, that Bluecat was feeding us all a load of BS as to what he was doing. Despite some surprisingly credulous people around here claiming the merge is so complex, nothing in the merge plan should have taken more than a month or two. Plus it was a bad idea from the start, and very likely a stalling tactic from Bluecat so he could do other things while he blamed the delay on other people.

Anyway it looks like we might actually some amount of new content in the next few weeks. We will all just have to see if he can continue with the development, or if he pulls a Icstor and goes on another multi-year hiatus.
