So I did not consider so much when translating, directly added the patch and then translated together, it seemed very troublesome to separate.

Or just put the Chinese version and the girl patch together? I'm not sure, depending on what you mean.

I suddenly remembered some of the problems and experiences I found while testing the game after the translation was completed and wanted to give feedback.

1. On high difficulty, the rent for the game is too expensive, even in the cheapest places. The difference in the amount of rent in different areas is very small. I hope that we can consider keeping the rent in the most expensive areas unchanged, reducing the rent in the least expensive areas, and increasing the difference in the amount of rent between regions.

2. After renting the house, the day before the rent collection day, cancel the rental house, and the rent can be completely free. So you can rent unlimited, just pay the first day's rent.

3. The player's strength is high enough, and when in the slum, eating 1 spark of food in the bar can not maintain the strength, but there is no kitchen at home can not cook, the player clearly ate the meal, but the dinner quality in the bottom right corner of the interface has been shown to be not ready for dinner, this hope can be improved, changed to "not full" or red "dinner quality" and so on.

4. In high difficulty, players can spend the early stage more easily by buying healthy slaves to participate in gladiatorial fights on the day of the fight, and then selling them to the slaughterhouse immediately after receiving the prize money. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a gameplay allowed in the game, please tell me.

How to even play it? I already replayed coulntless times, I read all the tutorial, guids and tips on the internet, wiki, and still I can't do anything and can't even complete the tutorial on easy mode. Tried both tutorial and normal game.

No matter what I do and what methods I use, I never was able to maintain a balance, it's always depression, apathy, despair, fear, disobey or other things, no matter what I do. And my character is also always depressed.
And stamina, it's especially confusing. It's always not enough stamina. I remember one time I freed a slave from every possible duty so she literally didn't do anything. And the next day it's still less stamina. They always fainting from doing literally almost nothing. And the worst thing is... exhausting rest. Like how it did developers came to conclusion that rest should reduce stamina? A slave too exhausted to rest. A slave fall in a week-long coma from resting. What the hell? How? I understand that the rest reducing the time left for the slave to do things, but it definetly shouldn't reduce stamina for a slave to fall in a week-long coma (why there is even week-long comas from doing literally almost nothing?).

I seen there is players that is actually able to play it, but I just don't understand a secret formula of playing it, cause all the tutorial, wiki, tips and guids is still not enough. Just how to train at least one (1) slave without breaking it in 1001 possible way?
I played a lot of difficult games, but in most of them the difficulty is understandable and fair. You can play them and even if you fail (even when you are angry) you mostly can understand why. And there I just don't understand what's wrong and can't succeed even a single time even in a tutorial despited reading everything looking at all the information. It's simply frustrating and for me it's unplayable despite how interesting and promising it looks.

Here's a few early game tips;

- For stamina issues, try not to ever let the stars go red. If it does, you'll not only end up with negative stam the next day, you'll slowly drain your strength. Low strength = not good.
- Punishment and rewards should follow the appropriate levels. Going higher on punishment (especially physical ones) will not give better results, makes both sides depressed, and drains stam.
- Choose your slave wisely. Try to find slaves with high endurance, low nature (maybe C-, not too low but certainly not above that), and pride > D-, in that order. I find low nature slaves easier to train in the early game.
- In the early game, always start the day by explaning her position. Then do whatever punishment you have to do, then use encourage (once a day only) to get her mood back up. Low mood for slaves mean they'll be very less likely to obey. An easy way to get her mood up is to put some clothes on her.
- The key here to to get the slave to do things willingly so you dont have to resort to punishment too often. In most cases I'd put a leotard on her and get her to do gymnastics. If this doesn't work, just try other stuff until you find something that clicks.
- Use auspex. Check on obedience level, it should be at least a readable number. If not then you need to get her fear up. An easy way to do this is to lock her in the dungeon for a couple of days. Just make sure her stam is green, not red. And dont resort to punishment higher than her guilt levels.
- Fear increases obedience, but also increase despair. In the early stages you'll want to keep at least some fear on your slave. Dont let despair go above 2, and keep fear below 3 at all times. How to do that? Well, every player has different ways of doing it, you'll need to find yours out.
- If you dont know what youre doing, play that tutorial with Helen until you can get her to D+. In fact, dont bother going into the game until you can do this, because if you cant then you'll likely not be able to do anything useful in the real game.

- And above all dont get discouraged. Work on the tutorials until it clicks.

I just want ways to earn money
and also can you have more then 2 slaves ?

Simple answer to making money without selling - you can't.

A more elaborate answer. You can make money winning races and gladiatrix brawls. But the purse winnings is so insubstantial its not worth doing it. Another way of making recurring income would be to train up cows and sell milk/eggs. But these require very specific, and well trained slaves (you cant just buy cows you need to actually train up one). By the time youre able to train enough cows you should be well on your way to being a patrician. Not to mention the opportunity costs. No point other than for the hell of it.

Of course, you can battle in the fog, get free slaves that you can sell. But fog fighting is not trivial at all. Your slaver would need very powerful equipment, stats and luck to do it consistently. And the gains are fairly insubstantial. Not to mention that the stam drain is so high you'll likely end up in the red unless you have the bull ring.

Dont get too hung up about the money. If you can consistently train up b+ ranks you'll get more than enough cash. High level slaves sell for much more than they costs. Doing D+ slaves consistently dont get you anywhere near as much.


You can technically train 2 slaves at once by putting a slave on stasis and switching them out every day. But the costs is 20 sparks per decade and each swap costs half a stam star. And of course you need the stam yourself to train multiple slaves. Its possible, but not worth it. I think the only time I legit did something like this was for the challenge of training a feeble slave.

There are some ways to make money without selling slaves, every decade there are events in the coliseum, fights and races, if you win those you can earn some sparks, you can rent a barn to milk a cow and then sell that milk on the public farm and lastly you could butcher your slave in the groceries store for sparks or meat, although it may count as selling your slave depending on who you ask.
You can have 1 slave and 1 assistant at any time, there are ways to increase how many slaves you can own at the same time, serpentine house -> technosphere -> cryostatic store -> check cells, here you can rent 1 cryo cells for 1 spark per day, initially you can rent 3, you can expand it to 6 if you pay $300 and you can have direct access to them from your house if you are willing to pay $20 per day, there are other ways, rent a farm and it will allow you to hold 1 farmhand, 1 cow, 1 pig and 1 egglayer, rent the dungeon and it will allow you to put another slave in the cells, so in theory you could hold 1 assistant + 1 slave + 1 slave in the cells + 1 farmhand + 1 cow + 1 pig + 1 egglayer and have another 6 slaves in cryocells, allowing you to own a total of 13 slaves at the same time... I think in previous versions the budoir also allowed you to hold another slave but maybe is just my imagination.
Adding a picture... for the slaver or the slaves? the easiest and quickest way for the slaver is to replace a picture that the game currently uses for the slaver, if you want to add 1 it's something more complex, if you want to add more slaves, well, it's more complex too, for that you'll have to add 4 pictures for the slave with the correct dimensions, 1 of the full body, 1 of the face with a frame, the same face pic with the frame but sepia and another one in gray scale. After you add those pictures you will have to manually add them on their respective folders and manually change their filenames so they match with what they are (number_hair color_hair lenght_age.png) you will have to add a new json for that slave, the json will tell the game what pictures it should use for the full body, the portraits and the anatomy bar. Also you need to rearrange all the other jsons and filenames for the pictures so it follows the correct order.

Total obedience of the slave depends mostly on her mood, her stats and the total sum of each piece of her aura, fear helps at the early stages, but you should aim to increase awareness, habit and taming, devotion will follow up with time although there are ways to speed up that process. You should aim to reduce spoil and despair and you have to manage her mood so it doesn't reach depression, reaching depression increases her despair.
Mood depends of what is happening to her, are her clothes comfy or you put a crown of thorns on her head? is she clean? is she hungry?
Clothing is very important, having the correct set of clothing for the correct task improves the chances of her doing the task, uniforms usually increase the rate of learning, some clothes increase arousal, some clothes increase taming, some clothes increase devotion, other decrease pride, some work on each lesson and some work day to day, if you know what does what you can exploit that in your favor, you can also try to find her affinity if she has one, if you find it that's an advantage because the slave is more willing to do that task and gets a mood boost from doing it, usually clothes can tell you if she has an affinity if her mood rises a little more of what it should when she wears specific clothes.
Also, you play with the cards you have but you can choose your hand from the beginning, pay attention to her stats before you buy her or accept a contract, if your stats are low you'll want to start with a slave with low stats too, usually the lower the pride the better but you also don't want her to be mindbroken, also pay attention to what stat is higher on her, empathy, endurance or intellect, because that will tell you what she is more willing to do specifically.

It's nice to you, another one who likes the game.I also spent months translated into Chinese version.
These 13.9G images. Some of them are years old, uncompressed and optimized. So the file size is relatively large. Some of the GIFs are from anime. Each GIF has a large file size.
If you want to get more images，The creative workshop of the wallpaper engine on the steam platform will be a good channel in our country.But watch out for viruses.
When you find more images，use [game\picture_modding\add_pictures.py] to add into your game. But this requires you to install and use python.

But maintaining updates for new translated versions is a problem. ImperatorAugustusTertius is constantly updating the game code.By the way，thank all game developer here for their selfless contribution.We can see their contributions in git
For translation work, comparing the differences between the old and new versions of the code is also a tedious task. I learned VScode and GIT for this. If you want to translate future versions, GIT may save you a lot of time.This is just a small suggestion.

I have a question about one of the partitionist quests. Im doing the quest for archbishop nirelius in the necroplis, and when i present the slave, he says "I see in her jealous eyes that she is a thief". Any one know why this is happening. All his requirements are met.

Switch to Anatomy tab. Improve her charm more next time. If you saved after the rejection, wait 10 days before trying again.
