The dev has two unfinished games and just started a third. The second game reused several characters and plot lines from the first. I enjoyed this game as far as it went, but I'm not holding my breath he'll actually finish anything. He'll declare completion and move on to the next shiny thing.

I don't want to get into an argument, but I am also of the opinion that this game should not be tagged as completed. With how the game is currently, all three routes are implemented as branching story paths, except that two of those paths don't lead to endings.

Can someone help me with some things that have me lost? I just started the game and all of a sudden it seems like the game just up and skipped something and now I am scratching my head trying to figure out whats going on.

1. Alison mentions "getting her sister back" and the MC responds as if they had some long conversation about it, yet up to that point there was zero mention of a sister at all. I even went back and went over everything again to confirm.

2. Out of nowhere we are given a sudden choice on three paths to take. When I selected one (Love interest) the next scene has Alison and she looks nothing like she did before I made a decision. Her hair is darker, she looks like the MC's previous girlfriend that is missing and she isn't even wearing the same clothes. Suddenly out of nowhere the MC has a completely different attitude? To make matters worse, the whole vibe of the story has changed. Alison went from knowing very little about the MC and acting very cautious about everything to acting as if she has known him for months and the serious situation she is in doesn't even exist.

3. Melissa takes Alison out on the town? Given what had happened barely 48 hours before, why would they even let her leave the house?

4. This is the one that really has me scratching my head!! The screenshot!! It says "just Play" but it says youll miss the story but chose the other option if you already saw this. Then the bottom says the shortcut is NOT for new players? OK?? If the shortcut is not for new players and clicking Just Play will cause me to miss the story, what am I supposed to do? Twiddle my thumbs and stare at the screen?

I feel like there is a big chunk of the story missing. Can someone explain what is going on because I am lost. Sorry if I sound rude. I am just very confused now.

1. IDK, I didn't find the writing in this game to be particularly good, so I'd say it's probable that either there's missing dialogue, or the MC just acts like he knows (because the writer knows).
2. That's part of this game's "selling point", which is that "No two paths ever use the same renders." Several characters have completely different appearances based on which route you take. In Alison's case, I think her makeover was to hide her identity from the people pursuing her.
3. Either they feel they can get away with it due to her makeover as above, or… you know, less-than-ideal writing.
4. The text after "Just play" is saying that taking the shortcut will make you miss this part of the story, but it's probably what you want if you've already played. If this is your first time, go with "Just play".

The alignment of the story-plot aren't very nice. Plot really matters when it comes to thriller like VN like this one. "Depraved Awakening" could be a good example.

The dev tried something new, in the process he made mistakes unlike those common mistakes other devs do. That is why these mistakes didn't annoy me as the should have. Because there are lot of them.
He tried to make some good story unlike some heavy sex based games, {FOr those devs, I don't understand why do they even bother making porn like games, I mean if we wanted only those wouldn't we watch just porn or hentai? }

These aside the main theme and settings were great, if implemented correctly, it could have become one of the greatest like "Retrieving the past".

One other thing he screwed up was making multiple almost completely different routes. He should have led all those effort on making it better together slowly taking the MC to choose the route later on instead of making MC choose at the beginning or on any new game.

Animations were okay and Models were okay too. Nothing impressive there.

I can't believe that you still waste your time with people who are here for two reasons. To play for free, and to bitch about the fact that the devs do not do enough for them to play for free. AFOTA's love path is complete.

The title of the VN was Alison, her story was completed, it was mentioned from the very first time the split was introduced. In fact, it is even written in the fkn game itself. DOM AND HAREM "These are what-if scenarios" you can even lookup the conversation on this thread, years back. So, I really dg a single f about an opinion on what some nobody on 95 considers completed. AFOTA is complete. The end.
HAREM will continue when and if I feel like it. And the only reason that will happen, is because there are a lot of people who PAY me and want to see it completed at some point. But hey, feel free to keep arguing over the why and how it was tagged completed. The fks I give will remain the same. 0 As for THE SHRiNK you would know that it was never abandoned, or left incomplete if you were a supporter. The people who pay me seem to be over the moon with the latest update that was released this month, as well as FOM that they got to play last month. So, I guess I will keep doing what I have been doing and ignore comments by nobody#45674.
