Well her being lesbian would make more sense, until you remember she had a relation before that led to a baby. It's not the first time someone has written this, now I think she is Bisex to make sense of the game, but at the moment there is nowhere written that she is bisex. As a lesbo I have zero interest in cock but on the flip side none of my straight friends have any interest in doing anything with another woman.

there are lots of homosexual men married to a woman and even have children. Simply for cultural or social reasons they do not dare to be themselves and seek a mask from society. In this case, it could be a lesbian woman who was raised to be a woman when she was young, but when MC's friend kisses / fucks her, she discovers that what she really feels is love for her own gender. Ok, so to expand on my earlier statement about punishing your "best friend" for her actions. The MC literally asked her directly not to do anything with his mother. The second his back was turned she snuck off to a secluded area to make out with her. They even locked him out to hide it and gave a vague "letter" on thier whereabouts and the wording she used even implied her intentions. Her apology is meaningless. She literally could have "unmade" the MC with her actions. Instead she changed the entire household dynamic and 20 years of the MCs history.
So even if it has improved his home life financially speaking, the past 20 years the MC remembers never happened. Any struggle that brought him and his mom closer never happened. I'm curious where the storyline will go, but I beg you not to let the MC just roll over and forgive this. I'd even be cool with the option to end the friendship permanently, but I have a feeling she's essential to the storyline. I mean do whatever you have to do and all, but I'd like that option.

Altered Destiny V0.03 Sneak Peek #2
Hey everyone,
Been hard at work on the next Altered Destiny release. So far the new timeline home is fully done, the next sketch quest scene is nearly finished with the animations being rendered right now, and the scene following the end of V0.02 is also in the rendering process. Around 90 images and 5 animations currently. Will be moving onto the 3rd scene later on today during the next stream.
