Skill system progress

I want to have the necessary tools implemented, before starting the story.
Currently, the skill system really gives me some headache.
I want skills to play a crucial role in the game.
That way, you could replay the game multiple times with different skill setups, and experience a whole different story.
On the other hand, each junction in the game multiplies the work to do.
Nevertheless,
I spent the last day implementing the basics of the skill system and added the first batch of skills to the game.
Each skill will be based of an attribute of your character.
Right now, the skill list looks like this:

Dexterity skills
  • Blaster
  • Dodge
  • Lightsaber
  • Melee_Combat
  • Pick Pocket
  • Pilot Space
  • Unarmed Combat
  • Gunnery
Intelligence skills
  • Astrogation
  • Computers
  • Mechanics
  • Medicine
Strength skills
  • Brawl
willpower skills
  • Discipline
  • Streetwise
charisma skills
  • Charm
  • Leadership
constitution skills
  • Resilience
I am aware that 18 skills are not much, especially when one takes into account that most skills concentrate in the dexterity tree.
I really need to get the other trees to an average of 4-5 skills so the other attributes are also well represented.

Disaster struck on Monday,
my coolant pump decided that it is time for permanent retirement.
That set me back in my timetable.
I had to wait for delivery and reorganize the tubing of the machine.


I will still deliver as promised the state of the game as of tomorrow and hope for constructive feedback.
  • What will not be done of the current to-do list:
  • second story scroll not changed
  • inventory only implemented with mockup items
  • skill system implemented 33% still lacks an own screen and a success/fail check system
  • content is not as much as I would have wanted it to be.
  • the intro was only expanded by a few screens

real men use 5lb copper heatsinks..watercooling is for nerds :p hehehee

Storys string "Penumbra Sweepers" continued

Not tagged as "animated?" Missed a trick here, I feel. Having the Twi'lek's lekku (headtails) bouncing up and down during H-Scenes was where the big money was at mate :D!

This is the good star wars game right ? the VN one, not the one developed by the dev that is a scammer that the moderators and admins here hate ?

this is the good one..except for the game freezing each scene of the dance..having to reload to get to the next scene and freezing again..maybe its just me..lol

I just got around to playing the last update and said to myself I needed more and I look on here and see it got updated. This is gonna be a good day.

Hey Rob,

sorry to hear that. is it the pc or the mac version?

I am almost out of the door for a 3-week vacation trip.
But once I am back will definitely take a look at that issue.

A quick testrun of the pc version shows no problems on my rig ... 140 mb of ram used.

PC..is Hotty MacRedallover animated?..or all stills?...if animated that may be why..my PC is new..but has integrated video..old integrated video..because..well..DELL!!! :(

No currently no animations.
Hmm, DELL ain't half as bad as their reputation.

What processor / integrated intel chip?

Currently it is just the Intro, with a few starting scenes.
Please be patient with me, this is my first game.
I gladly will take any and all constructive feedback and if possible try to incorporate it in my concept.
so will it have harem in it later on and choose the will change the outcome

Naaah, we are impatient mouthy rowdy bunch in serious need of some SW lewds after all the fakes! Expect demanding, emotionally unbalanced ramblings :geek: Fitting i'd say, considering the title. We'll see if this brings Balance or not :sneaky:
