Am I bugging, or is this on like 3rd rework? I think I tried it in the past and I can swear there were already 2 versions (old and new), now I see chapter 1 again?

2nd version (errrr or rather there's been 1 total rework). Confusion is understandable because of it's weird versioning scheme. "Because I Love Her v1.0" is the original game, currently contains more content than the newer version, though it's mostly the hard ntr variety.

I think the remake was called "Episode 1", which came out last fall. The current version hosted here is a continuation of that remake but it was called alpha love path update, or steam update - sensibly this is the "episode 2" or second release in the remake.

TL,DR -there's 2 separate games. v1.0 is the old one, more or less complete. The new game just got it's second update, which focused on the non-ntr harem path.

There's this really good game called AOA Academy and its probably got some of the best love story telling romance in the VN department......too bad we'll never see the ending, but even up to that point its great story.

Yup, I've definitely played that before and was sad to see it abandoned.

I've already updated my compressed post here a few weeks back. I also made a simple hotfix for the gallery to, it's not a big deal though.

If you're referring to "last update" meaning the alpha release about a month ago, then the latest is just bug fixes and gallery additions.

If you're referring to "last update" meaning Ep 1 Part 1 from almost a year ago, then you need to start a new game and disable NTR when given the choice at the gym. The updated content is all on the "Love" route.

That is NOT the reason... The dev became a sudden ghost, quietly stepping away from creating his project without a word to anyone that knew him.

Rumors say his family found out (not sure if that is true...), and he was forced to walk away from his franchise. His title was actually generating decent revenues from multi sources, so it's very odd how it all ended for that decent title.

Depending on the family and the nation where a developer lives, being found out can actually be a death knell for an adult game. That´s what happened to Ollane, the dev of "Tomie". A really poor sod, since his family was not open about adult stuff and porn is also illegal where he lives. I sincerely hope he is okay as far as is possible under the circumstances.
So the family finding out about AVN development can go anywhere, good or bad.

Most people only played the alpha, and between the alpha and full release there is, it has the missing images, missing animations, and the gallery.

I think it died more because people said it was too like another game. Harem very rarelty causes issues with the game unless people scream and yell that members of the harem have the audacity to actually play with each other (usually with permission) and not just the MC.
