While here I just shot the shit with everyone and nobody has hurt feelings. I can joke about waiting for Maya's 13 Mini-Games Why episode, and people will laugh or facepalm, yet on some other places, I'd be crucified for saying minimal negative stuff.

I've known people who loves a series a lot -considering it even her favourite- (I'm thinking particularly Friends in this case) that managed to be years of rewatching repeated episoded before watching the ending because she didn't wanted it to "end" (in fact I'm not sure if she has watched the ending yet :unsure: ). That's an extreme case probably yeah, but there are people like that, and I've also known other people who did things like that but not for that long.

There are people like that, I'm sure some people in that case would like to have something new to be told about their dead parent for a long time instead of just feeding up in a single session. It's not exactly a way of thinking I share, but it's one I know it's very real for some people, so I don't think it's such an artificial plot convenience (it's certainly done for that in this case obviously, but it's not irrational and cannot be explained just for that reason alone.

Some games yes, others not really. "Find the pixel" it's the most anoying... having to check every corner of the images to find one object that gets you a render that might be pointless is annoying. Now more than ever that they are in the middle of story and not only in the free roams. It's such a disconect from the story experience...

There are more than enough people who like such things, if appropriate, very well. And it's not the developer's job to please everyone. He pursues his vision, and accordingly gets his fans. I am one of them. His success proves him right

I really don't know why he does that too, in free roam ok, maybe you want people to take a closer look to details in renders you took your time doing, fine. But do you really want people pausing artificially the story, dialogues, to look for magazines? Don't get it.

I think the consequences to that are not yet fully known, it's not like it has a huge effect in episode 9 but probably will have later.

I think being kind to them will pay off with them helping us out when Tybalt tried to pull some shit with us. Because they basically own us one for letting them go in.

Like how defending Chad in ep.3 have being a good terms with him but I will feel that will change if you fought with Troy in the future.

I just keep having this feeling that Chad secret will be come out this season, and Sage would talk to him even if she knows about or not.

I can see her Reponses will be different based on knowing or not.

I'm playing on Android and I'm stuck in a never-ending loop. It starts with Jill saying she is happy to see Bella and then it cuts to Sage talking to Maya about joining the Hots, they spot Bella there and then it cuts to the same scene with Jill again.

It seems like two branching paths are glitching. What can I do?

I've been sick for the better part of the week - stupid flu - but I'm almost back to normal now.
I've been writing and working on mini-games during the week, and the PCs are rendering animations as usual.
I have already prepared the backend code for all special renders, 2D art, and gallery. I usually leave this bit until late development, but I wanted to have it done early, making it easy to add collectibles and lewd scenes as I develop the episode.

Mini-games
I wanted to talk briefly about mini-games today and likely at another time during this development cycle.
With Season 3, I wanted new ones and also to see over the existing ones.
The English mini-game has been fun and challenging, and when I thought about whether I should replace it or not, I decided to keep it. But I have updated the design and functionality for Season 3.


You can now type the words, as I know many of you always have wanted. You also type "cheat" or "quit" for their functionalities, and a simple press of the spacebar will shuffle the letters.
You can type any 6-letter word freely and even use backspace; it feels fast and responsive.
I streamlined the backend code while I was at it to make it easy to add new tests without having to rewrite stuff in the future.
And don't worry; I didn't spoil the actual letters for the episode 10 mini-game with this preview. ;)
On the other hand, the Math class is getting replaced by a new mini-game. I have completed the development of it, and I love what I created.
I don't want to show you the entire thing or spoil the gameplay, but I will tease a subset of it with this image.


On top of these, I have two other completed mini-games, one almost complete mini-game, and two planned ones that I'm working on.
