nowhere in the world does a bank, having to choose whom to ask for money, go to the penniless and assetless one of the 2 who signed for a loan
It's a porn game, the bank goes to the one who is a hot girl that may wind up having to sell her ass on the street to collect the money :coffee:

Baby steps. We have a fine entrepreneur like Quinn with an already established business that she could ask again.

You need a good lawyer. I remember that, Maya got that kind of advice, but she couldn't afford a lawyer, Jill should be thanked for that.
however, it won't happen in the next chapter, otherwise the whole 'anxiety' effect of Burke's phone call would be lost, the danger of Maya ending up in the restaurant should be kept alive a little longer

Just completed my first play through of Seasons 1 and 2 and have ended up on the “Sage or Others” path.

I think I have collected all renders possible given my options but I am puzzled by one of them.

Is it correct, that one of the standard girl renders (so not the special renders or the art) is only available on the Josey/Maya path - the render in question is Sage #22. All the other standard renders are achievable, just not this one

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Have I got this right, looks that way, but seems strange that all other standard renders can be collected regardless of which path you are on. Also seems a little odd that a Sage render is tied to a Josey/Maya path.

Any way, the next job is to create saves at the end of episode 8 for both Sage and Others and then start a new play through with on the Josey/Maya path - I think I should be able to use the start of this run through as a Jill/Isabella path too.

I also think it is a fake danger, in fact I said that DPC will keep it alive, not that it will ever happen.

if Maya now finally resolved the issue, everything would vanish immediately, so I doubt it will happen so soon (??!).
Yeah, it's a fake danger. But which are the threads of the story right now? Maya's tuition and Chad's blackmail. The rest is just Slice of life kind of story.

I somehow doubt she would end up in the restaurant. Even if she doesn't get help from Jill. Don't think her dad would be very happy if that happens being a religious nut and all. Might see a shift in him. Those points you build up with him must count for something at some point. But this all just speculation tho. To be honest in my view this whole thing is pretty silly. The problem with all these events. Most of them can be solved by just talking to someone. Everyone try to be so secretive about everything. Just going to to police. If it was me I would have. Im 100% sure any mention of a prostitution ring and drug peddling would spark some kind of investigation. Same at the end fuck tommy I would have phoned the cops anyway with the whole vinny situation.

Patrick, for Maya but also for the others, is a more real danger than the restaurant, as long as he makes a surprise visit for real...

Vinnie is also a real danger

I did not explain myself well, surely Maya will not end up in the restaurant, not even as a game over. But it is a danger that DPC hints at to keep the tension high

No your explanation was perfectly fine. I am merely speculating on things. And how I would have handled things if it was me in those situations.

The thing is, you're maybe right and this Maya problems story could drag on until the end of season 4. :HideThePain:
Sometimes part of me wants her to end up working in a restaurant, that would be a good life lesson for Patrick.

Only issue there is that we "The Players" know she will never end up there, so there is no real tension.
Sure, from the game's narrative point of view you are 100% right, I agree with you.
But, for Maya to return to being more likable to a large sum of players(and not only on F95), she has to be unburdened a bit by the game's narrative. But as is, like I said many times, MC is the vessel for the story, in truth, Maya is the main character at this point. And as such, her story will last from start to finish. But in a way, I think DPC is working towards a magical resolution for everything. Taking down Burke will:
-Free Quinn maybe
-Bring Maya forward as the girl that put things on the map, and get a free tuition
-Release from dad's hold

Not to mention if MC gets some silly inheritance from a grandfather, he solves Maya and Quinn's problems/debts with ease.

So I believe that things with Maya(Burke mostly) and MC's backstory will be dragged on till the very end, since it offers an easy fix that makes no sense using now.

But the starting problem remains, we know Maya will never work for Quinn.
So we can't really feel any pressure there.
Hell, even a Neutral MC is ok with Quinn at this point, so I kind of don't see MC letting anything happen to Maya due to him knowing about 95% of the stuff that happens in the Hots, since he's friends with or dick'd most of them.

Maya dropped out of the CUMpetition at the beginning of the game, to be replaced by Mel. Mel ended up with Derek as her partner. Incest bullet dodged?
