Lily's reaction is strange at the end of Ep 9 and this cold shower leaves players guessing and theorizing why she did it. But what if, in fact, Lily is already in love with MC? We've seen the preview and this look:
View attachment 2440372
And this is not at all clear, we see that she definitely likes him, but she protects herself from typical boyfriend-girlfriend things.
Lily is one of the most mysterious characters.
If I analise it with porn game logic on I'd say she totally likes him and she's lying to herself about it but if I try to use real life logic I'd say she means what she says. She likes him, but she doesn't want a guy around her being all jealous and possessive about her being a stripper and all and then she seems to have her life figured out, so she doesn't want a man interfering with that.

we are really close as a 'danger'

Quinn, we've seen her do worse, but at the same time we've also seen her fail in every one of her plans, while Lily hasn't missed a move. and the shady dealings they're involved in are pretty much the same.

is Lily's lucidity, which seems at all times like a girl with a plan, or Quinn's often self-destructive unpredictability more frightening?

we're very close, everyone make your bets
To me the most mysterious thing about Lily is her line in the HOT's house. "You're not the man you're supposed to be. Not yet anyway". What was that about?

Madame - The amazing reward you get for not helping the elderly when rebuilding the mansion.
Working on the Pink Rose and getting the "Prize" for Madam are two different events.

No one ever claimed that she isn't flawed, she's a drug dealing pimp, her 'tsundere/troll/scared of her true emotions' attitude is a great hook, I always go for the tsundere.

Actually is Quinn even a tsundere? She's into MC from early on so I don't think so.
Tsundere is not about liking the MC or not. It's about lying to herself and others saying she doesn't when she does.

The fact that she is afraid of jealousy from a man and relationship problems because of her work as a stripper, I think the most normal and logical explanation for her "don't fall in love with me." This behavior is expected in real life and the least conspiratorial version.

without going down the rabbit hole, it will be a generic reference to the rumours about MC, probably referring to the fact that MC is not yet 'dominant' over DIKs as it should be according to both Quinn and Sage (who are probably Lily's source)

Moral of every comments here is "MC" is the golden apple, and every girl with any type of past wants to take a bite of it. Talk about being so charming.
P.S: just saying, don't start debating on it or anything.

The thing is... For what? Why does she need a strong DIK MC for? What are her plans, just rolling over?

Yeah, that's for granted. The thing is, in games that want to be "realistic" the more obvious this is the worse the game is, imo.

Okay, since Maya was mentioned, I want to make a serious post of white knighting and normal reasoned criticism. I don't hate Maya. In fact, I feel sorry for her as a human being that she got into this shitty situation and she has such a retard father.

Here I agree with The Glorious LIME , all these jokes and Maya shitposting due to the fact that her storyline has a number of wrong decisions.
First, this story line is too long. Maya and her problems run through the whole story of Being a DIK. The first season is Maya and her mysterious money problem + cliffhanger with Josy. Then it was okay. The second season, more precisely, it's second half is Maya and her problems, we found out the reason. And this storyline, like a virus, began to infect the rest of the characters, dragging Sage into it. Ok, end of Season 2, there was hope for this issue to be closed, which gave rise to many theories after episode 8. I'll go into more detail about this in the second claim.
Season 3 is again Maya and her problem, which remained unresolved, now Jill is involved in this matter. This storyline is just herpes.
Second claim. The player cannot influence this problem in any way. He is just an outside observer who can morally support Maya, nothing more. His $5,000 will not fix the situation; in a good american college, this money is enough for one semester!

What irritates me most of all is that MC and the decisions he makes don't affect Stephen Burke's decision at all. This is what the players were hoping for, that if you were assholes and allowed fuck ups with this family before, then result would be negative, if you did not commit these actions, positive. It turned out that the storyline was just static and Burke turned down Maya when she said too much about the free tutotion at HOT's. Now that storyline has switched to Jill's lawyer (the mysterious Jonathan, I guess:illuminati:). MC just goes with the flow along the way.

Third claim. If MC is just an observer, why is this storyline one of the core of the game and not optional? Let's say the player is not on the M/J route, can't they just skip that part of the story if they don't like it?
For example, the option in episode 4 when talking to M / J at a party: "I wish you happiness, but I don’t see the possibility of us being friends in the future. All the best to you" I certainly would never choose this option because of Josy, but I think it is the place to be for the "dark lord players".
Or at the end of Ep.6: "Maya, I don't know how to help you. I'm poor."
And that's it. Players would sidestep Maya's problems, they wouldn't look intrusive, and there would be less hostility. Plot holes could be closed in other ways, although they would not exist, Maya would still be at the meeting with Burke, but MC would not know about it.
I am friendly to Maya from the very beginning and want everything to end well for her, no one deserves persecution for sexual orientation, this is not the Middle Ages. And Patrick should go to jail for blackmail and bank loan fraud. This is my position. This story is very long and I wish it to be closed as soon as possible.
Fourth. Josy. As a girl and as an LI, she is much more interesting than Maya, but due to Maya's storyline, she doesn't have her own. It is fixed on Maya and her problem. This is a problem that needs to be fixed and Josy needs to have her own story arc.
As for Maya as LI, she's not exactly my type. But I have to admit that she got better in Ep.8-9 - she doesn't behave like a damsel in distress, she becomes bolder and more relaxed. Damn, a lesbian who realized she was bi. At the beginning of the game she was touchy, now she fucks in college classroom, at the party and deep throating like a pro. She's definitely better than Jill.
Another small "BUT". Okay, not small. Her skin needs to be fixed, texture upscaling went really badly. :HideThePain:

But if DPC has done such a job with all her renders like this, then that's good. I don't want to see that horror from Ep.9 again

It's actually quite simple.

when the game starts we start off with MC having a crush on Josy, she's the first LI to show up, she has a stereotypical characterisation but it works, or at least it worked for me.

Outside the trouple Maya becomes an immovable and insurmountable obstacle to this relationship, after a series of episodes that do not improve its reputation.
and this fact that Maya is the obstacle is not a deduction of the player but is periodically repeated by Josy.
Let's also add this asymmetry between Maya and Josy, with the latter continuing to wink at MC, while Maya is solid in her position as a friend, without any wavering.

in short, excluding fans of the trouple, which is not anyone's cup of tea, for the other players Maya does not have a particularly positive impact on the story

Well, I could give you an answer and a partial answer. From game mechanic perspective, to balance LI between Chick and DIK paths. From a narrative perspective, from what seems like a practical standpoint; she wants someone aggressive and dominate, however, to what end we don't know. It doesn't seem quite like Quinn; her's stems from actual genuine affection, but sharing maybe in some utilitarian interest in his fighting capabilities and social cachet.

Yes, you made a good point about stereotyping, but it really works. Works with many, including me. I already wrote before that JoJo is a simple girl next door, like there is nothing unique or special about her, but you like her. Friendly, positive good girl but with a mischievous little wild character and not against various tricks.
The girl who laughs at your portrait prank when you draw cocks approves of it - what could be better?
Taking Maya out of her story makes Josy one of the best LI options in the game.

As for Maya, well, at least she began to develop a little. She handles Burke's rejection well. But still of little interest. That's when Maya takes a selfie of herself sucking MC's huge dick while taking Josy's strapon up her ass and sends it to Patrick with the caption "FUCK YOU, DAD!" then she will interest me more.

BTW, saw your comment above about Lily. It seems that she is really smarter and more calculating than Quinn, at the moment Lily pulled off a good chess game with infiltrating HOT's and looking for a new supplier of dope. This suggests what if Lily is the smartest character ever? Bella said that Lily, Derek and Ashley are the best in class. Derek is a scammer and since he taught Ashley these tricks, so did she (Ashley looks dumb, maybe she left those papers in the toilet). Only Lily remains.
I don't know how smart Quinn is, I think she's too impulsive for strategy. Her chess games are like a pigeon playing this chess: everything ends up with scattered pieces and shitting on the board.

On her scene in the HOT house, when she's sitting on top of you. I don't have the game right now so I can't take a screenshot.
Do you remember path and choices? It's been a while, but I remember getting quite different responses from her.

Put it another way, some people are like, "Why is my MC given ability to fuck two hot girls in any way he pleases, when i only want one."

Which is to say, i hear them say things, but these things just make no goddamn sense. :sneaky:

I didn't like the scene at Burke's, as usual we saw Maya asking for help but without ever explaining well the problem, which is this devil of a loan with double signature (hopefully at least with Jill's lawyer she will talk about it), which represents a risk for her even beyond college.
then this moment of crisis with Josy is constructed, which MC, if in the trouple, is evidently able to defuse, but it remains a fairly superficial moment

it was no surprise that the encounter ended in nothingness, but this was the nothingness of nothingness, if it wasn't for Jade it was a very boring segment

I don't think Lily is hiding who knows what kind of twist, but she has already replaced Riona as Quinn's second in command, and she is objectively much better than Riona, can she get Quinn in trouble? maybe but I don't think it will come to that, now the big enemy is Vinnie, and they are all against him

one hears a lot of nonsense, like that one must be faithful even when one is not in a relationship

that two is always better than one doesn't apply even with washing-up liquid...
