You went straight to the "lots of people like it" and ignored everything else I stated.

You also completely ignored my previous post (here) that lists the various interactions between the two girls.

It just comes down to you not being satisfied that enough has been presented between the girls to convince you that they are in love, when in fact the idea that they are together has been beaten over our head so much that no further visuals are warranted.

Does anyone playing the game not know they are together? Surely not, so why do you need more visuals?

Also, all the other techniques of giving us snippets of details to be fleshed out later, you don't like it (Mona leaving as an example), but others get it. There are heaps of clues as to why Mona may have left, but it seems you need a linear story from start to finish to make you feel comfortable. That's just your preference, it's not an objective criticism.

The game's not perfect, there are lots of issues that people have raised, but to say the story telling is trash is a bit heavy handed.
The reason I went to 'lots people like it' defense is because that's what you wrote. And when the discussion comes to that, regardless what was before it, I don't personally see much point to continue on after that. Also on the list, not only was there overlap with other responses I gave, but I didn't think it was that convincing to be honest, especially because it skips the interaction in Episode which basically negates that really clumsy reunion at the end of Episode 4. And that's not even starting how horribly that was set up because the story didn't do the work to actually earn the moment. For every moment in your list, I can probably list one to two scenes that massively undercut those 'meaningful' moments.

That is a personal opinion. Now I addressed your list. Still makes impossible anything beyond that because you made it popularity of being signal of how it succeeds in storytelling. Also, while I did get to vent, I don't see that much purpose being a source of negativity, got complaint of my chest, and now the discussion can go back to what it was with reduced complaints. Holy hell that was difficult to write without getting passive-aggressive.

It doesn't even seem to be about visuals, it's like they just want Maya to look at a girl and say, "Damn, she's sexy. I'd like a piece of of that", because apparently that's what needs to happen to make it clear Maya likes girls.
I thought I explained this particular aspect a couple of times, but obviously I failed. So one last attempt. I think we would both agree that Maya's whole tragic backstory and her motivation to resorting to the HOT process is because her father's reaction to finding out she's gay. We even got the flashback scene. So the game makes Maya's sexuality and the price she paid for it a core part of the character. Not only that, the game uses that as the cliffhanger for Episode 6.

Now, when writing it like that, I wouldn't think you needed some great sexual scene with her checking out women or hot lesbian scenes. That is sufficient. However, the only character you see Maya show any kind of sexual/romantic attraction to in the university is the male MC. There is an exception here in that if you go in to that relationship with the M&J, you could get that one scene, but even that references the MC. Hell, I could give examples of both women prioritizing the MC even if he turns them down instead of each other. This is why the fact that there's no actual show of her being attracted to women is an issue because that is the core of her story and there are multiple examples of how turned on she is about having sexual interactions with a guy.

By the way, on that longer response you gave, I didn't bother pointing this out then, you gave a real life example which is kind of weird as this is game is not real life. As are not TV shows or movies, even if they were documentaries. As such, games and all those are collections of narratives moments that are supposed to build towards a consistent story based on the scenes that are shown. Actually I always thought the golden rule was 'Show, don't tell', but apparently with Maya it's 'Why would you need to show when you can just tell?'. Sorry about that, that passive-aggressive moment felt too good to pass on.

You think it's possible Maya and even Josy end up in Mona's situation if the MC doesn't warn Maya about being weary of Quinn's intentions? Or they just quit the HOTS no matter what?

Then you, sir, are merely living up to your forum username. My father always said to stick with your strengths.
Ad hominem aside, when last I left Sage she was explaining to the MC that she was at the Preps party for money and that she couldn't honor her commitment to the DIKs. Sounds like true love to me.

Already done a playthrough without warning her and it still leads to the same outcome as if you had warned her. I suspect DPC didn't fully work out all the choices to be as impactful as they could have been or has an entirely different plan as to what happens in a later episode with that specific choice influencing her decision to return to the hots maybe.

Oh, I've played it through many, many times but nothing yet has convinced me Sage wouldn't drop the MC like a bad habit.
You need a scene in wich she runs to an airport and ask him to stay with her?

Jokes aside, the relationship is developing. Love is not something you built in a day or two. But we know how this is going to end, couse is a porn game and is meant to please our ego. The MC is a proyection of ourselfs. We are amazing couse we give DPC money ("we"): Ergo DPC is going to make Sage to absurdly fall in love with our huge cock.
And to the story: Sage sayd that she is used to hide her emotions, besides she is a 21ys old president of a university slut club. Of course she is not going to show huge emotions towards a guy she met recently. What she is going to do is what most of the girls (and boys) likeher does. Deny their feelings and pretend is just sex until she is totally in. Some peoplelive their entire lifes doing that. So, is in the small details when you see that is not just sex and something else is developing.

Regarding Maya (and Josy), I've always gotten the impression from DPC's writing that he is ultimately going for a love triangle, with all of the drama that entails. And by love triangle, I don't just mean threesome sex. I think they will go through a rough patch with a fair bit of jealousy between the girls in the upcoming episodes, which may result in separate Maya and Josy paths. Jill's involvement (be it friendship or love) with both Josy and MC will complicate things even more. If you have appropriately navigated the story pitfalls via your choices, then you will get your happy throuple ending, but I think it can just as easily go poorly if you haven't done everything just right.

I need to know why someone who doesn't care about Chad anymore and who cares about the MC is beating the shit out of Chad in Episode 6 ... she has no feelings for him but she's kicking his ass, because?

Obviously, she's not over him.

It's just weird. For one thing, girls don't titfuck guys they don't even like. That's not part of being fuckbuddies. Girls don't get shit out of that. She only did that for revenge on Chad. Then, after they have the buttsekz she still says they're just fuckbuddies and makes him sleep somewhere else besides her bed. And she says she's taken when the MC says he has more interest in her than in Quinn. She's bipolar or something.
It is weird, for normal people. Its fairly common for damaged.

You know the game goes on after that, right? And even after that we don't have a single sex scene with Sage.
If the idea is that textually Sage says that she started to have feelings for the MC, then, you're right, that doesn't appear in the game, happy?

Has anyone of you tried to make a loser route? like you have no relationship, you fought with everyone and you also have poor grades in your homework .. i would like to know how the plot goes on like this ..
Yeah, I did this a while ago actually. It is actually pretty hilarious how far you can go out of your way, for the most part, to not interact with the girls.

That's because, as I said, at the core of this game's story is the MC, and like all MC's in adult games, they are the central focus of the LIs even when those LIs are already in a relationship. But in terms of the reality of the story that exists in this game, Maya has found herself inexplicably attracted to the MC, most likely due to the emotional state she's in over her relationship with Josy, and it's caused her to feel a connection to the MC that confuses her. She's not sure what this means because she has been convinced for some time that she is completely lesbian, yet there's something she really likes about the MC. This is why, on the M&J path, this has become a full-blown attraction and romantic interest, whilst on the non-M&J path she knows she likes him but isn't sure in exactly what capacity.

Just because she has an attraction to the MC does not negate the predicament with her Dad and her relationship with Josy because she is still in that relationship with Josy on both paths. Josy is still the person she loves the most and so she's not going to give that relationship up for something that might just be a passing fling or just the result of confused feelings because of the strain this situation has put her under. Plus, on the M&J path, if she were to have her way, she'd be in a relationship with both of them and this still does not solve the Dad problem. So the core of her story remains, regardless of what path you choose, which is that she has an attraction to girls. Her having any sort of feelings for the MC doesn't change that or lessen the drama of her story because her interest in girls is at the root of that drama.

By the way, on that longer response you gave, I didn't bother pointing this out then, you gave a real life example which is kind of weird as this is game is not real life. Fiction draws from real life and that's why people can sometimes see it reflected in what they view/play/read. Maya not openly expressing interest in girls is, for me, very reflective of someone I knew in real life and hence why I drew the comparison between them as a means of explaining Maya a bit more. Having these real life comparisons is what can enhance a story or a character because it makes them more relatable and that's why I'd say that any such examples can be quite relevant when discussing this game or any other piece of fiction.

You think it's possible Maya and even Josy end up in Mona's situation if the MC doesn't warn Maya about being weary of Quinn's intentions? Or they just quit the HOTS no matter what?
Both Maya and Josy have already found out that Quinn is full of shit and Maya has pretty much quit the HOTs already, so neither will be getting involved with that. Josy, however, may still stay with the HOTs, but her Dad is paying her tuition so she has no reason to join Quinn's little operation.

I need to know why someone who doesn't care about Chad anymore and who cares about the MC is beating the shit out of Chad in Episode 6 ... she has no feelings for him but she's kicking his ass, because?

Because she's hurt. Feeling something for the MC doesn't mean she can't still be devastated at Chad breaking up with her, particularly because it not only comes out of the blue and with no explanation, but she seems to have given a lot of herself to that relationship and she doesn't know what went wrong. She feels that she needs to know that, and he doesn't give a reason, that's why she's pissed and angry with him.

Exactly, and its the most common thing, when someone just leaves is the other wants to know why.
