Not the first time it's going to happenIt would be quite the turnaround for the fiercely independent Sage to become an emotional wreck who becomes clingy towards MC.

To be clear, I hate most of the minigames in this game. But there are a couple that I like. Unfortunately, you either have to play them all or skip them. So I kind of want something extra for having to play stupid drinking minigameWhat I don't get is why some of you give a shit if other players obtain rewards easier? If you like hard-mode great, but why should those of us going that way get extra rewards because they want to play it that way? If the reward is good enough to make mini-games enticing, then it's obviously a punishment to prevent players who can't or won't play mini-games getting them. If you like mini-games, then the 'extra' reward is playing them, plus the satisfaction of doing it the hard way.
I wouldn't mind if mini games took a hit for a shorter update cycleI really miss your point....
if you like minigames, isn't the reward the pleasure of playing them? do you really need BADIK to become a "competitive" game? i don't think that's even remotely its purpose....
or is the problem that others don't like what you like and therefore are not "worthy" of being BADIK players like you? the problem is the complaints?
I don't either, but it's obvious that DPC enjoys making them, he's rarely as enthusiastic as when he talks about them, so it's easier to not have a new chapter than to have it without minigamesI wouldn't mind if mini games took a hit for a shorter update cycle
see? Because its does not add anything to it anyway. Take an example. What if Jacob paintings, would only available, if you play the mini games ? In the grand scale of the game, it does not affect anything, you dont locked out from a content, just becasue you dont have them. But its a Bonus for those who Achive it. This should be the point of the mini games not in just this game , but in every game. Like Gwent in the Witcher 3. Do you absolutely have to play it? No! But those who enjoy to play it, get something out of it. Not just the pleasure of playing, but a reward for it. A unique content, a "Bonus" . And those who complain they dont get it, Fuck them SnowflakesI wouldn't mind if mini games took a hit for a shorter update cycle
And hey, forcing people to play minigames is not a punishment, punishment would be wiping all saves on mod detection. Which I'd find totally hilarious btw
No I don't. Just because you repeating the same shit, won't make you right.
I play the mini-games remember? As did several of the other people who 'argued' with you. It's OK for people to have other opinions without throwing a fit about it. Unfortunately for you, the only opinion that matters is DPC, and he loves those mini-games, and happily gives prizes to casual players. And everyone who so far up on their own ass to argue with me on this, just proving the point. But, I admit, part of it is my fault, Because I always underestimate, the absolute laziness, and how really Casual peoples truly are.
Come now crabs, you're a modder/dev these days, you already know how to avoid or nerf mini-games you don't like if you want too...To be clear, I hate most of the minigames in this game. But there are a couple that I like. Unfortunately, you either have to play them all or skip them. So I kind of want something extra for having to play stupid drinking minigame
minigames = False
minigames = True
In the can't help but laugh at guys who get hit in the nuts sort of way. One of the many reasons I have automated backups of my saves. And hey, forcing people to play minigames is not a punishment, punishment would be wiping all saves on mod detection. Which I'd find totally hilarious btw
The tone of my messages? Don't let your imagination run away with you. There's something deeply unsettling about the tone of your messages, I just can't pinpoint what. Can't shake the impression that you're taking fictional characters way too seriously, mate.
It works in InterLube because it's a yes or no question with a >=0 factor... if it would go on as it was in InterLube it would make the meter pointless ( IF it even comes back... if it does not then it's a solid yes to the ideaWhat would be useful to me personally for mini-games, would be to have the option (like at the start of the Interlude) that if you've played it before, you can skip it this time. It would be easy enough to set a 'persistent' value in every mini-game, that would be set once it's played. Then just set any variables that need be set, and let the player avoid doing it again... and again... and again...
she just found they both actually cousin...View attachment 1711845
Sage's skin looks pretty shiny here, and with her hair up in a bun, it makes me think that she and MC were in the pool.
This looks like a very emotional moment, making me think that MC is going to become Sage's emotional crutch as her world starts to fall apart.
It would be quite the turnaround for the fiercely independent Sage to become an emotional wreck who becomes clingy towards MC.
Since mini games are not mandatory it should reward those who play it. Punishment for casual player would be, if you unable proceed in the game forward without mini games. I won this argument a long time ago, but you have the right to be wrong , there is nothing wrong with this, except being wrong.2. People who play mini-games should get extra rewards. People too 'lazy' to play mini-games can suck it.
I don't agree at all, the mini-games are the reward. DPC would be stupid to piss off all those players who don't like them by locking significant rewards behind completing mini-games.
Facts are facts: You already lost this argument, it's DPCs way or the highway. Prizes for everyone, mini-games or not.
Mini games very user friendly in this game. You only have to achieve it once to unlock the special render, on replay you can basically skipping it, it's not even time consuming. May Be the study class, But offical or unoffical walktrough + cheats works just fine. you answer 5 and cheat 4 and you have 90% its 20 -30 second, even when you speed runWhat would be useful to me personally for mini-games, would be to have the option (like at the start of the Interlude) that if you've played it before, you can skip it this time. It would be easy enough to set a 'persistent' value in every mini-game, that would be set once it's played. Sex scene should be a rhythm game. And if you fail, the girls dont get to orgasm and they dump you. Like in GTA San Andreas. "Hot Coffee"I love these mini games yo , every morning that I wake up I pray that DPC puts more of them into the game , beating them is even more fulfilling than taking on some of the overpowered bullshit bosses in elden ring's end game
These mini games give meaning to the lives of every player of this game and genre , in fact even the sex scenes should have a mini game attached to it where the players must navigate their mouse cursor like they do in the drinking games but this time the path should be made even more narrow and tedious and if the player fails than the MC gets an STD or is stuck with the Madame as the only love interest for the rest of the game
The minigames are definitely a mixed bag. What would be useful to me personally for mini-games, would be to have the option (like at the start of the Interlude) that if you've played it before, you can skip it this time. It would be easy enough to set a 'persistent' value in every mini-game, that would be set once it's played. Cruel... I love it !These mini games give meaning to the lives of every player of this game and genre , in fact even the sex scenes should have a mini game attached to it where the players must navigate their mouse cursor like they do in the drinking games but this time the path should be made even more narrow and tedious and if the player fails than the MC gets an STD or is stuck with the Madame as the only love interest for the rest of the game
True... but it's the only reason why this can be referred to as a " game "So while I pretty much knocked all the games above, I didn't mind any of the on the first play through, but they are pointlessly time consuming after that.
the easiest way to make the "mobile" minigames interesting would have been to make the money useful for somethingThe minigames are definitely a mixed bag.
Doing Brawler for cash during the free roams is now uninteresting since there's no context, it's like it is just a phone app, not him actually fighting in some underground setting.
If there was some sort of underground fighting ring with a bit of story and some progression, that would be a lot more interesting.
However Brawler against game characters, like Chad and Dawe, is a lot of fun, but it'd be nice if the mc stopped getting sucker punched after each scene!
Triple Tile was kinda fun, mainly to get that trophy, but it was unnecessarily time consuming for minimal payoff.
The Shuffle game was forgettable, it's been done a million times before, so it was just about the pictures and the payoff. But really it was just part of the grind to get cash in the free roams.
The Pixel Hunt (or whatever the fuck it was called) "mini games" were the most annoying for me. Running around trying to find some random item to click on, no, that's not entertaining for me at all.
The Maths game was intriguing the first time, but typically ran with the same concepts over and over.
The English game was a fun challenge the first time, but absolutely pointless after that.
The Gender Studies quiz was kinda amusing the first time round, with all the bullshit the girls would go on about, but then again, you can get that kind of conversation talking to a teenage girl in real life.
The Drinking game was quick and unimportant, but it's surprising how many people found it borderline impossible. Same goes for the Painting and Library Cleaning game.
I didn't mind the Tennis game, but found it annoying that it was impossible to win the second set against Jill. You could only win the first and the third. Beating the shit out of Tybalt was fun, even if it was an accident.
The Beachball and Basketball games were totally forgettable, but at least the beachball game included the girls. How many people even knew those games existed?
The Pancake game was pointless. Really, there was no need for it at all, it actually detracted from the banter at breakfast.
The Drawing game in the Interlude was a joke. If anyone couldn't get an 'S' in that, they must have serious a motor skill deficiency...
The Mansion Repair was definitely the big hit, a lot of people are sad to see it go. I think the main reason for that was the progression. Each time we played it, we got closer to completion, and there was satisfaction in that. It was also executed well. Plus it was also based on something real in the game; the DIKs were actually out there earning and cleaning.
So if the Party Planning follows in the footsteps on the Mansion game, it's sure to have it's fans.
So while I pretty much knocked all the games above, I didn't mind any of the on the first play through, but they are pointlessly time consuming after that.
Really? I wouldn't say so. I mean, there are free roams with special render hunting and the MC's phone, both of which are pretty integral to the game. Just these two activities make BADIK an interactive experience and a more complete 'game' and not just a regular 'vn'. Of course, mini-games add to the interactivity and replayability, but they are just an additional layer of interactivity, not the only oneTrue... but it's the only reason why this can be referred to as a " game "![]()
