That's because you always call Sage spontaneously! :devilish: You don't have to call her, you know? ;)
Calling Sage when she's sick and taking care of her is one of the funniest scenes in BaDIK. Sage 'dying' and the MC wanting to put frozen sausage on her forehead as an ice pack.

The best part is when Heather asks if the MC has ever heard of ice cream and the MC says that he will use the frozen sausage on Sage and not for her to eat. Heather puts on the best expression in the game and says the MC is sick as she leaves. 10/10

Becky is the female version Tybalt is a real joke. I'd rather stick my dick in Madame than Becky.

In fact, all the girls in the dorms are a joke. You can see in Ep.10 that all of them are far from the MC's league, they don't even know who is the well-endowed DIK among them.

I think the flashbacks the MC has, it's like when the mysterious blue-eyed girl showed up, to tell him what he needs to know.

In the case of the flashbacks, it's for the MC to recognize how irresponsible he has been, like, for example, always drinking until he blacks out, like an idiot, the use of drugs, the focus on parties... I think it's time for the MC to mature, especially if he is rising to a leadership position, and to match his current super popularity.

You think it's time? :ROFLMAO: He's been in uni all of about 6 months max. He still has plenty of time to chill that shit out.

Oh i see, yeah shes obviously a smart girl, i dont know about cunning, calculated for sure. I mean whatever about her skills, when she was shown to buy drugs from quinn to sell/share them with her friends all these theories turned moot (not even talking about how nonsensical going undercover as a stripper to enrol in college would be).

Quinn has kinda already abdicated her desire for the presidency even when she stays and i dont think Elena has any desire to lead. And i think lily is a nice blend between good and bad girls, i feel like (in complete opposite to quinn) if its about "her girls" shes always ready to fight for them and care about them in a genuine way.

Like with mona, when she encourages the mc to compliment josy, when she talks to quinn about how she treats the other girls or lately when sage is anxious before the date with tremolo. Shes always very supporting in a imo genuine way
I think people are looking for something with Lily that just isn't there more because of the dev's love of twists or drama than what we actually see from her in game.

I think the side of Lily we see outside her work is exactly what she is. She’s fun, smart, very pragmatic and when she want's something she pursues getting it a very upfront manner. She actually doesn't really misrepresent herself to either Quinn or Fuckface. She doesn't even hide she's a stripper from people she's upfront about it like she is with Josy. Even this episode once she’s “rolling” with Fuckface she makes it very clear to him why she needs the distance, she didn't hide it or drag it out for episodes, pretend she was beyond them feelings instead once that relationship was in place she tells him. When she realizes Quinn's thing she goes after her and gets cheaper drugs for herself and friends while also making it clear to Quinn Lily is someone that she could trust. Same with fuckface once she decided she wants him after the HOT party she's straightforward about it. Like you said loyalty also seems to be something she values she makes clear if they roll together then it means they have each others backs it's part of the deal. Lily isn't deceitful people's first impressions of her in game are because she's a stripper and looks like a slut, I feel DPC even made a point of this with fuckface been surprised she passed when there's no real reason to think she'd fail, I mean fucking Anthony passed :ROFLMAO:.

For a character people keep expecting a dishonest twist with Lily is consistently upfront. There just doesn't seem to much bullshit or drama when it comes to Lily as a character.

If these flashbacks are just to show how immature and irresponsible he has been in the last few months it will be very depressing. I'm expecting something big to come from these flashbacks.

Furthermore, I don't think he will assume any leadership position... as his popularity increases, the DIKs' distrust of his loyalty will increase in the same proportion.

In Ep.10 the DIKs already started pointing fingers at the MC for allowing prepps to enter the Halloween party, at the end of Ep.10 Jacb also questions the MC about his loyalty... The MC will be banned from the DIKs in the next episodes.

I never play mod with this game I start from the from the very first season in this game I swear to god I’ve never use once mod in this game
Hmm did you use the walkthrough "mod", or used someone else's save file at any point? That could be enough to trigger the flag which causes the game to shut down at that point.

In any case, people figured out some walkarounds for that issue -- check in this thread, around the day when the new episode was released, for detailed instructions.

The game should only cover the first year, the MC has to establish himself in that first year, and in the end DPC only needs to show B&R with the MC as leader of the best frat, his position on campus, his popularity, the relationship with the girl who he chose...

You guys have been mentioning Lily a lot in the last few pages, she, for example, is someone we see mature, she has her frat's leadership position as a target, she is working to make use of her popularity, and she is a freshman, just like us, I think we can even predict the same for Caleb, MC, Lily and Caleb are equivalent, each taking leadership positions in their frats.

The MC is already in charge of planning the parties, and is the "treasurer" of the frat, he is already one of the leaders, but it is still not enough for a protagonist.

Regarding doubts, the DIK's will doubt each other, not just the MC, but they won't doubt forever, at some point they will solve this mystery, and it will probably be the MC who will unravel the mystery, he has to deserve the position of leadership, someone is going to have to keep the DIK's together in this ordeal, just like it was when the mansion was destroyed.

As for the flashbacks, I don't think it's something serious, like, for example, a way for the DPC to give the answers to the mysteries, that's not interesting.

What do you know, a new BaDIK episode before the end of the Olympiad! I was hoping to get my comments written up in a more timely manner, but it's been a busy week. Still, I've finally managed to sort through my thoughts and put them in some sort of order.

After the complete misfire of Episode 9 my expectations were at an all time low. I'm happy to say Episode 10 managed to exceed those low expectations, but there are still a lot of worrying signs. On the positive side, we get much better branching that showcases the different LIs without feeling interchangeable, and most of them manage to deliver both sex and romance. We even get some nice character moments for the main cast, including an unexpected glimpse into Derek. Several of the side-girls likewise get interesting material, which prevents MCs who kept playing the field from feeling left out. More importantly, the narrative integrity of the episode is much stronger now that it doesn't need to cram everything into a single, overhyped party; events have time to unfold and characters are able to react to them in potentially interesting ways.

The key word, however, is potentially because despite some small movement on the margins, the main story line and character arcs are still in a holding pattern. The episode seems to conclude with the promise of answers, but its weaseled out of those promises too many times for me to trust it now. Even if I was willing to take the promise at face value, there's still the fundamental question of where this game is going, driving home by the disturbing cliffhanger. And of course there's the almost comical overexpansion of minigames. Not only are there more of them, but they're growing increasingly convoluted as DPC works to prevent us from 'cheating' at them; even having minigames turned off still forces you to play watered down versions of a few of them.

The end result is an episode that staunches the bleeding but is still waiting for proper medical attention. Maybe we'll get that attention soon and we'll finally see a lot of these longstanding mysteries payoff handsomely. But then again, maybe we'll never get that attention at all and the mysteries will fester as we get another shocking twist that completely overwrites our previous actions. It's still impossible to say for sure, which IMHO is a serious problem when Dr. Pink Cake seems eager to spend as much time as possible dragging out each new update. I love the game's characters and its production values are top notch, but that may not be enough if the gameplay becomes tedious and the final destination is less than rewarding. Episode 10 mostly addressed the biggest gameplay issues, but the story still doesn't seem to be headed anywhere good in the near future.

But enough ruminating on generalities, let's dig into what we got.

So there you have it. Episode 10 is a step in the right direction, but still short of what I was hoping for in terms of both plot and character development.

tl;dr A substantial improvement over Episode 9 and there's certainly plenty of content, but the game is still more interested in making promises than it is in delivering on them.

Oh, and the minigames have finally gone rampant and are hellbent on consuming humanity. None shall escape.

The first year? Still NOT enough time to mature. I'm pretty sure you're shit outta luck for a mature MC. Unless you play a Chick or Neutral MC. As for Lily, I haven't mentioned her once. I always mention Riona.

At Leon and Jamie's cluck, where they are dressed as Lily and Envy, Tommy comments asking what line needs to be crossed for them to ban someone from the DIKs. DPC has already left a foreshadow with Tommy's comment.
