Yeah same here man i have said it many times i am really sick of the fake best friend crap like no i don't want him as a friend i want to beat him with a base ball bat other than that game the seems fine i don't mind it.
this is why devs need to learn the difference between disabling the content, and just 'skipping' the content
Thought I'd take a moment to chime in on this. The dialogue for this section was reworked for 0.062 such that Oliver does not initiate any kind of flirting with Lilly if the two of you are dating and you have all of your flags disabled. The original set of dialogue was a mistake on my part and poorly reflected the kind of character I'd like Oliver to be. The next release in January for 0.07 I have actually rewritten even larger portions of this scene to make it more fluid regardless of content preferences and even more accurately reflect the kind of friend Oliver will be to you in the future! I once again apologize for my original design errors, and I'm endeavoring to keep the content for certain routes more separated going forward.

So Lilly will still flirt with Oliver if you have opted for the FWB relationship and not the dating relationship, but if you were dating and had cuckolding/sharing turned off you should not have encountered that dialogue. Regardless, the in story menu choices are being removed in 0.07 and replaced with toggles in the preferences menu. In addition I've heavily reworked this scene to also reflect some of your dialogue with Oliver earlier in the game since it has been a subject of hot debate.For what it's worth, I just played 0.062 yesterday for the first time and I really liked it, although I did run into the extremely jarring dialogue mentioned where right after you committed to being in a relationship, Lilly and James Harden decide to get their flirt on in front of the MC anyway, even after telling the game 3 times that I wasn't cool with that
I'm sure it's just some renpy script scenario that will be ironed out as development continues, but in the moment it kind of felt like the game was being pushy.
I hope that in future updates it's possible to be more vanilla instead of having every interaction either be hardcore dom or hardcore sub.
Otherwise, the writing (the way it's intended to be according to the dev at least) is great and the actual art is great. I understand why the choice was made to use AI imagery for the backdrops and they're not TOO distracting most of the time.
I did select "dating" and still got the dialog yesterday.
I would imagine there's some selection bias at play here, because people who are super into it are going to be the ones who join the discord. If you personally just like that kind of stuff, you're the developer and only you can realize the vision you have for the game! But going through the Patreon (I am a backer) there aren't really many comments that express any kind of preference either way from what I can tell. That is much less off-putting than an extremely pushy NTR preference would be.

Not quite! The goal is to update the first Friday of every month so I'm looking to have the next update come out January 5th!
There will be one! That is what I define as "true NTR". It'll be an easy to avoid route, and can be toggled off altogether, but it will be in the game!
