Yeah and there can also be reasons where someone has issues with connecting to people, where it can make sense that a connection to a family member feels safer as any third party which can also be later shocking event to the char and part of the game, someone reminds them strongly of someone they loved and never grew over it, grew up in a situation where incest was favored so has a different view on it as society at large and so on.
In reality there are many reasons why people do not act upon those things or resist them or never become an issue since they falll in love with a non-family member, just when you are making an incest game, well they have to break the taboo in the end if have them and of course in a more corruption route where Mc forces things it can be he breaks down the resistance if some interest on other side as well as long as you gloss over fact his family members would likely avoid him if possible since he makes them uncomfortable, but still if realistic why would he suddenly go to that length if got to 18/19 without being interested and can be with hot other girls for no reason?.
