The link on the OP for a compressed version takes me to page 120 where there is only an Android version. Can anyone please do a version for WIN. I got a compressed version last time I downloaded. I have extreme data limits and would love to get the latest version of this fantastic game.

Hi!
Just a quick update letting you all know about the progress and it's going surprisingly well. I still have one more scene to do. I thought I'd be able to get it done in one day, but unfortunately, it's one of the worst optimized assets I've ever bought. Just loading the scene takes more than 7GB of VRAM and I'm supposed to load 4 characters there!
It will take much, much longer than I anticipated. At least a few days. Finishing that scene means I don't have to do any more static renders for Chapter 13. But the update isn't done yet. I still have tons of animations to set up and render.

All of that progress means you can expect a release date announcement this month!

Well, CH11 saves work fine with CH12 version of game.
And I don’t remember having ever had a problem with the save files but I started playing after CH7.

WTF 7gb, i'm not a professional in all the technical graphics stuff, but what i know is that some engines has better renders then DAZ (Unreal, cryengine..etc) and they do it in real time, so instead of using DAZ i wonder why devs just don't use Unreal engine and take screenshots and videos to make it a VN in ren'py.

smaller size of compressed, achieved by reducing a bit quality of media-files (images, video, audio).
it could be noticeable on large tv/monitor screens, yet for phones, doesnt matter really.

I think you misunderstood. The assets, which are being rendered in real time via iray inside of DAZ, use 7GB of VRAM (graphics card). What most people do nowadays is exactly like you describe. They take 'elaborate screenshots' of scenes which they arrange in real time.
The main difference to video games is that the rendering algorithm doesn't need to take every shortcut. While it's enough for a game to calculate the shadows of the biggest objects from the player's point of view, other engines can have almost no limits and render the shadow a fly would cast hundred meters away from the canvas.

1. Click on your profile on the upper right
2. Click on signature
3. In the edit signature box type [ IMG ] then paste the signature link and type [ /IMG ] and save signature. Remove the spaces inside the brackets, I just put then so you could see how it's written.
