Well the one with more update were AnonTW. I think they just did a large one like two weeks agoHonestly what is the ''best'' eratohotw Version? I use the development build from the wiki. Are there any substancial differences?

Didn't know the mad russian was still working on hisWhile Pedy's the most unique of 'em or prolly the best from what I experienced.
It's a very schizo one and is way too unstable so AnonTW pretty much fixes those and removes some of the schizo sh-t Pedy put.
Ah, the pedy version still spams that bizarre error where the pics will have a different face that leads to crashes -> rip save file on my end but they're pretty much the same.I mean since then, obviously.
Kinda? There is no penalty for going over other then no more natural draft but I'm pretty sure the higher you economy (needed to have lots of troops) the more the troops cost.1. Is there any penalty for going over the cap, aside from losing natural increase/regen for the army ranks?
Yes, if A and B are in a ceasefire or alliance, B and C are the same but A and C are enemies, then A and C can pass thru B's territory if they are in alliance. B will remain neutral as longs as their are allies with both.3. Something I kind of picked up from the comments all over this thread: do I understand it correctly that allies of someone I have a ceasefire with can attack me willy-nilly? For example, A has an alliance with B, and B has a ceasefire with C - A can use territories of B to travel all the way to C and attack them, correct? In other words, C would have to be part of the alliance to be protected from A. And, if true - if A and C do go to battle, how would B react, if at all? Help because allies? Not help because ceasefire? Relations drops? Would B participate and/or be affected in any way?
Hold on a sec, are you saying that it is possible for: A and B to have an alliance + B and C to have another alliance (so no ceasefires, just alliances) whilst A and C can still duke it out?if A and B are in a ceasefire or alliance, B and C are the same
Yes, even if you are surrounded by allies you are not guaranteed to be safe. Enemy factions also get the Alliance limit that you have.Hold on a sec, are you saying that it is possible for: A and B to have an alliance + B and C to have another alliance (so no ceasefires, just alliances) whilst A and C can still duke it out?![]()
Oh, this must be when we leave her at high lust.In my hindsight, should have marked the screenshot key to prevent taking a picture like this.
Anyway, an authentic Hakurei Shrine Experience event is finally in game

If some 2hus are happy after interacting with you, they'll spread some good word -> more favorability with their friends but this one is a weird case 'cause that only shows up at the end of each day.EraTohoTW question here: can somebody explain the Exposure/Favorability gainsYou must be registered to see the linksandYou must be registered to see the links?
The reason I ask is because those popped up seemingly randomly as I simply moved around Forest of Magic, not interacting with anybody (I may have pilfered some panties early in the in-game morning, screenshots are already around 3PM). Thought it was the touhous having quests, but Yumeko shot that theory down with "Favorability: 1". Who/what/where am I getting these +s from, then? I mean, I could "logically" explain Exposure from commando touhous I run into, but Favorability?
And one more: what does Great Fortune Crest do, exactly, when it is "shining" or "sparking brilliantly"? What am I supposed to pay attention to in this case?
Fortune Crest is for lewd. I don't really know if it's only for the home area or not.EraTohoTW question here: can somebody explain the Exposure/Favorability gainsYou must be registered to see the linksandYou must be registered to see the links?

Exactly, "weird case" - I do remember those end-of-the-day increases, and these do not look like it at all. The bummer being that there is no indication of who the increase is with - I would at least have a starting point for figuring out what is happening. If some 2hus are happy after interacting with you, they'll spread some good word -> more favorability with their friends but this one is a weird case 'cause that only shows up at the end of each day.
So..."someone is having some "me" time, go figure out who it is, where they are, and do all of that before they finish" of some sort? God forbid it is not in the same area - I think I would not even bother paying a visit, then. Sounds oddly specific/constrained to be worth the time. Not that I would know what to do if I were to get there in time. But "shining brilliant" usually meant someone is masturbating
I mean, the OG pedyTW bricks my save after some days mostly 100+ while AnonTW seems to be more stable.Exactly, "weird case" - I do remember those end-of-the-day increases, and these do not look like it at all. Lastly, completely unrelated to my other questions (probably): I grabbed the "original" eng-translated TW, but does anyone have a take on it vs AnonTW or whatever fork(s) are out there? Like, is there a reason to switch, or is it primarily QoL differences?
The other person explained it poorly, the primary purpose of the crest is to give you a hint at your daily luck at the start of the day with how brightly it's shining being representative of your level of luck. So if you get something like in the image I shared you'd be better off not spending a lot of time doing stuff like fishing because you'll mostly just fish up junk. What they were talking about is it's secondary purpose. So when you got to a characters room there's four things that can happen. Either the character simply isn't there or asleep, the character is there and they'll tell you if they'll visit your home area tomorrow or not, they're there and you can ask them to go on a date and lastly you'll catch them masturbating. The fortune crest let's you force the masturbation outcome through an option it adds when you visit a room which also consumes it.So..."someone is having some "me" time, go figure out who it is, where they are, and do all of that before they finish" of some sort? God forbid it is not in the same area - I think I would not even bother paying a visit, then. Sounds oddly specific/constrained to be worth the time.
