one question is there going to be wendy? as i loved the dialogue and scenes with her, so i would be sad to see it go
Being honest with you? I would love to, but I wouldn't either. Wendy was one of the characters that gave me the most headache, however, I will try to explore a way to put her, a way that I won't be shouted as pedo***** again.
(Let's say someone patched my game here LoL a talk for tomorrow tho.)
The game is already years after the initial battle with Acnologia so she would of been of age by now. So how the hell is anyone calling you a pedo? She even looks a bit older than in the Anime.
She was 12 years old when introduced.. it's fantasy world so marriage would be around 14 in that day and age.. There is way more than 2 years before the end battle.. that puts her at least 16 years of age. And when I saw her in game she looks between 16-17 years.. no way does she look like early teen anymore at age of 12.
Because there's some seriously toxic people out there who try to shame anyone who makes smut with anyone looking even remotely young. All the time I see people complaining about loli characters in games that don't even have loli characters, or a character who looks younger then they are. It's just old men yelling at clouds, talking down to anyone so they don't have to feel so miserable about being a 52 year old fat virgins who still live in their mother's basement while they troll smut forums.
Combine that with the fact that the Fairy Tail fanbase is especially toxic even by anime fan standards and you're looking at a recipe for controversy. It's really unfortunate too because this game has so much heart to it, Fairy Tail fans were lucky to have such a good porn parody made for their show
Maybe you can modify her model a bit and make her look older with bigger tits and with the bio that said she's 21 years old so you have more ground to argue, but if you feel like it was too much of a hassle to deal with those toxic fans again then maybe left wendy out of the game for now until you can find a way to put her in the game
There is many girls that do not have large breasts. There was that time she appeared as her future self and she still did not have large breasts.. put large breasts on her than I want nothing to do with the game.. I came for the the young adult Wendy. Which she clearly is in this game.. she definitely appears older than the anime or manga both!
I am not a fan of Lucy.. I prefer Wendy and her young friend. Damn bitches whining pedo.. fuck them.. I bet every woman with small breasts are pissed that they are being stereotyped that way! You can't change a persons body if they are born to be slim and short that is how they will be.
Somehow play her age into the story.. for example maybe she attends a magic academy that is attended by those that have reached adult hood. This could fit in the game without being unbelievable to the world of Fairy Tail. She attends it every morning and not available during that time unless you visit her in the academy.
The damn problem is unless you make it so damn obvious to others they will still think of her as the 12 year old girl in the very beginning of the anime because people are too fucking stupid.

Not the first time someone being shouted at either being a pedo or some heretic so dont worry, Youre just one of those guys in history who provided good shit, only to be spat on by some retard with as much iq as a rock which in and of itself is quite the miracle even if i dont believe in them these fucks definitely managed to make one
I'm going to be honest here, I really have no desire to play a fairy tail game with a female MC, I hate porn games with a female POV so this new game is not going to be for me at all which is A shame because I loved fairy trainer and it was arguably the best best fairy tail parody game that we'll probably ever get and you closed it literally the month before I was about to support which is A shame and I get that you did for your own piece of mind so I understand and hopefully whatever you make after this new game your planning will be something I have more of A interest in. It's A shame this happened and hopefully you will eventually either continue this at some point or someone else will make A similar fairy tail style game, either way I wish you luck and thanks for what you did make it was great while it lasted.

Do you expect common sense from the internet? There are people only live for their 5 mins of attention that they only get out of spite to screw someone, either in work, out of entitlement or anywhere else.
That said it's really sad to see this project abandoned, I was waiting a coupple updates to try it but now I don't even know if it's worth to try it or not
I believe that you should leave Wendy and other characters like her in it but set it up so the only way to get them is with a patch.
This is a really good solution, also imo AstRider , instead of ditching completely this game. You could implement it in the next, since not everyone is a fan of female protag, you could do a 2 paths game, male and female. In your patreon you mentioned " and I want to work drawing double penetration, scenes with monsters and etc, and doing that with a male protagonist, without being NTR is difficult. ". This could be easily overlooked by the fact that August is op as fck and Mashima could do way more with him as with almost everyone else(looking at the fact Mystogan was highly wasted
), one of his powers that never were explored could be him make clones of himself, disguise magic of objects, creatures, anything really. In an universe like Fairy tail and with a main character OP as August you are only limited by imagination itself.Cheers

Too bad, it was good while it lasted, good luck with the new project but to be honest being a female lead probably draws less attention.
PS: strange that it is due to copyright (there are 30 parodies of naruto, harry potter and the last airbender, among others), but it is the decision of the dev so good luck.

There even are parodies from Disney and Nintendo and those weren't taken down. This is why I hope the dev makes the game with both paths so it doesn't lose traction.

Yes, it's rare that they use copyright as an excuse, but I guess it could be the case, in the end if this project ends up being abandoned I hope some other dev uses the idea, the truth is Fairy tail is an anime that lends itself to a porn game yes or yes.
True both anime and manga had heavy fan service, I didn't start the 100 year quest yet but I imagine there is still a lot of fan service around.
Parody is protected from copyright complaints. The issue here is the game featured music and artwork that was owned by the IP holder. The manga pages, the anime cut out sprites and the soundtrack were the issue rather than the characters or world.
