Well the dev explained their situation two pages back. It's going to be slow going but it is not abandoned.

No major news, but still moving forward. I have so many things I want to do with this VN, I just wish I had more time to dedicate to it. For now tho, all I can offer is that it is still being worked on.

Would love to hear that there was a ton of progress but just happy that you're doing well and still working on the game. Some of the other devs out there seem to be having a hard time.
