The game is quite complex regarding relationships, betrayal, deviousness etc.
If you don't follow the solution you will miss important hints which will make the game unplayable afterwards, because the relations between the players or the ways (why does event A lead to result B) become incomprehensible.

This is exactly what makes this game a failure. It could have been amazing, because the content is non trivial, dynamic, and branches deeply. However, the quest checking system is atrocious, and can't keep with the complexity of the choices needed. Which forces players to follow a badly written walkthrough to the letter and thus shatters most of the enjoyment of the game. Truly disappointing.

I disagree that the game is a failure. After all, a game that keeps me jerking from night till morning and made me call in sick for work one time so I could get some sleep, is a successful adult game in my book. That said, the grind of the game has definitely gone too far. It's made me glad that chapter 1 is over so I can get a new start to try and find the missing things again.

I appreciate the sandbox nature but hopefully with this new chapter, the dev can really scale the grind properly this time.

You should look up the word anecdotal... You experience doesn't mean shit. It's about the statistical average. And it has been shown countless of times how people are on average simply unable to finish the game or even enjoy it without following the walkthrough. Which then makes this creation not a game, but simply porn images with constraint to access them, i.e. clicking where someone tells you to.

Since it's close to release date I can confirm that there will be no more NTR, SNC probably will get rid of him or leave him without any continuation of his story, he said there was nothing wrong with my ideas he really liked them(I didn't want to give him my v14 ideas the first place, no ideas was given to him)he will use on his future games, but for FOTM chapter 2 he said he already set up a clean relation between Melinda and Daniel for the rest of the game, hope will collaborate with me again in the future, I did gave him some ideas how the game should end and how to set up for new FOTM game but I said it very clear I won't be giving him any more ideas after what he done with v13, the direction he is heading pretty much is a suicide route, getting Melinda pregnant, making up BS so they can deal with William, after this story end, he will probably make new chapter that Melinda gave Daniel a son and they will start new family together but Daniel still remains the MC, even he put NTR back I won't be interested anymore, it will lose the excitement, the only thing I can give him credit for the is the creation of Melinda, his main story is very predictable, always give useless hints for the main story, at least I created Jax and Lee so non-NTR player have something to complains about, now you guys will be jobless, the boring sex scenes will be back, by the look of it SNC will milk his paterons for another 10 versions, i can't wait for his mind blowing ideas in the next few days

Is anyone a patron to the dev of this game ? If so can you guys show him what this dude REALLY thinks of him, just so the dev never works with him again ? The entirety of this post can be summed up by "boo hoo dev didnt like my cuck ideas, I hate him and hope he fails".

Narratively, the MC has to chose to watch, or can be the hero saving their love interest. It's that simple. You don't like NTR, choose the option where you save her and it never happens. You like it, then keep watching.

Keep the NTR stuff away from games that didnt have it planned, and we can get along (or not, since we wont come into contact)... the second fans of NTR come to a game that didnt have it, and now by the looks of it will get rid of it going forward and start slinging mud cause they didn't get their way and ALSO have the audacity to blame the original fans of the game (non-ntr crowd) thats when we have problems...

We are not fighting over "Because I love Her" or "Culture Shock"... we are fighting over Foot of the Mountains, a game that for 10 updates DIDNT have NTR, didnt have the tag in "planned fetishes" !!

EDIT - and before I get the "then just choose no"... you realize the fucking amount of renders for the NTR scene doesnt evaporate into limbo due to me or anyone else "picking no" right ? the dev still put in tons of hours posing, and the rendering those many images to make that damn content right ? Time that could have been better put to use making more animations of Daniel fucking plowing Melinda in some sexy smooth animation !!!!

This is really the only reasoning I care about. If the dev didn't want it and some guy walks in and says "change the game for my personal tastes" then that guy is a dick.

So what? As long as it's well out of your way and easy to avoid, you really can pick no. I get not adding NTR to a game randomly. But if a dev wants to have optional scenes, or if a significant part of the fanbase actually does want it, then having it be optional and easy to avoid is a perfectly manageable solution. Training yourself to be this blindingly averse to a fetish existing in your game is just gonna make you more on edge.

Well I tried it, and first of all thanks for your work. It's a welcome initiative.

Howwever, there are some serious issues I must share:
- This will seem like a detail but having a `<` character in your folder name is extremely unprofessional knowing how many filesystems don't allow this character in paths. I lost 10 mins on this as the extraction wouldn't work out of the box because of this...
- The "MACOSX" remnant folder from mac systems is also disappointing laziness, and will mislead some inexperienced people
- The most important point: you ask for people to do many weird tasks without explaining anything whatsoever regarding their relevance. Why the hell do I need to override some pngs ??? I know what you're doing but because I'm a dev too. When you ask people to do manual tasks on their computer, you need to explain to your users what this is achieving. Or else you appear shady and unreliable.
- Lastly, your designed your mod on a third party compressed version, which first is a very poor design choice since people always have to download a non-official version, and secondly it defeats the purpose of it, to me at least, since you make the sex content appear quicker but you drastically reduce its image quality.

This last point unfortunately makes it a no-go for me, sorry.

It's OK to add NTR as long as it's optional IMO.

It's entertaining when you have to fight with an opponent (that's what games are about) and not just go the harem route without facing adversity.

The walkthrough is trash and misses a lot of stuff too. Also lots of scenes are dead ends, like that one.
