0.6 plans

I think I can safely say 0.5 release went well. Thanks to you we have found a couple dialog-related bugs, we'll patch them out along with a number of other small fixes soon.
It's time to talk about 0.6 plans. First of all, we're going to work on the content we didn't add in 0.5. Full list was in our previous post, but I'm going to talk about some parts today with more details.
We plan to focus on gameplay mechanics in 0.6. We'd love to always do 50% mechanics and 50% story, but it doesn't always work out this even. Last update had a lot of focus on the story, so we have to catch up on mechanics.
Now, the plan:
Basic parameters. It's finally time to add relationship level, attraction and open mindedness.
Flirting. This is a complicated mechanic, which will take a lot of work and attention. We can't add it into the game without NPCs having basic parameters, let alone balance everything.
Laptop. We wanted to add it in 0.5 purely for cosmetic reasons, but decided to implement it later, but with useful functionality. For a start, there will be online lessons for leveling up some parameters, college website, and basic interface for the college committee. There will be another post about it soon.
Quest log. The game already has too many storylines to keep track of in your head, sometimes next step isn't very obvious, and right now there's no way to know when you finish all content. Adding a quest log should help with that.
Maria. One storyline wasn't finished in time and we'll have to add it in 0.6. You'll meet neighbor Maria and she'll offer you something a unique opportunity. We have big plans for this storyline in the future.
After we finish all our plans for 0.6, we're going to work on some new basic mechanics:
Inventory. Kate will have a purse and ability to interact with some items.
Containers. Ability to move items between the inventory and, say, a chest in the living room.
Shops. Buying various items like presents, which will improve relationships with NPCs.
New cafe events. We'd also like to work on asking NPCs in a cafe to improve relationships. Unique dialogs, learning their backstories, useful information about their tastes and hobbies. Maybe sometimes Kate will be asked out too.
As always, we have a lot of plans. Hopefully, this time we'll be able to do everything in time.
