i hope so. Was a good game but as always when greed gets the better of you it goes downhill at light speed. Sadly...

If he says it works like that I will take his word for it. If the account stuff works out as he says it will then great.
As I said in the post you quoted... I don't any more.
It was clear from his patreon posts that he's not at all interested in changing the way the game works. If you have a bad connection or his servers are down because of malfuncion, too bad. If his server gets fried, you lose your saves.
I don't mind anything he does in the game, I don't like his business decision to put everything server-side.

Watch and wait. In the long run this will break both DS and Glamours Neck. Greed only works if you are to big of a company to get heckled with. This can only backfire.
All Server Side does also means no one can mod the game.
No one can cheat to skip annoying stuff and most important of all.
No Connection no game.
He can move away from patreon and that would be no problem but to make his own website and then make all server sided is just downright stupid.
It just baffles my mind how you as a dev can ask your fanbase for help and then spit in their face at the same time.

IMHO, the visual are awesome, but that's it. The other points are lacking. And with some good new games by other experienced dev out there (eg: Milfy City and Melody), Glamour is not appealing.

The only huge problem Glamour has is the fact it requires a lot of development time for content creation. With BB's ban this time has been taken and with Patreon model patrons might harm whole project before it will really grow. Damn, I really hate how our "market" works

Time for another progress report.
Yesterday I have finished working on new locations for 0.2. This includes:
Almost all college locations: main hall, two corridors, Kate's class, two bathrooms, changing rooms, shower rooms, the pool, medical room. Principal's office was ready for intro and teachers' lounge will be introduced after start of the academic year.
Almost all locations in Julia's fitness club: reception, her office, two changing rooms, shower rooms, yoga room and the gym room.
Stores: main hall in the mall, clothing store, sports store and sex shop. The last one won't be in the mall.
Basement in Julia and Kate's house. We have big plans for this location. Kate will probably have to make it presentalbe first.
City map, including the interface and all icons is also ready.
I'm going to keep showing you new locations, but currently I'm working on college uniforms. For women it will be: two main uniforms, four swimsuit types, two sportswear types and cheerleading uniform. Guys will have one type in each category: main uniform, sportswear and swimming shorts.
After that's done I'll start working on NPCs. I'll begin with the teachers and then will go to the students.
We're also working on the current version, we're improving the interface, fixing bugs and adding new functionality. Today we've added Kate's wardrobe. Not everything is already available, we still have some clothes almost ready which we will add soon. First we have to add new stats for the main character, NPCs and for the clothes. Soon main character will be able to rest and sleep (depending on the time of the day). We're currently testing Android version of the game.
I hope it doesn't break Glamour's neck, I wish all success to it etc etc.
Most of his supporters, the people that actually pay for the game, don't mind the online-only and everything-on-server. However as the game moves forward and the Grind shows up... many would wish for mods or at least cheats. When problems with the server eventually happen (he's new to this I think) then he may change his mind.
On the other hand, while a few people may be angry at not being able to play the game for 2-3 days or something, in the end, there will be 4-5 hours more content per month (grinding included). Not being able to play for a few days occassionally won't be too bad.
Hence, I am afraid he will not change his business model.
Hence, I stopped supporting his game.
