Or maybe it's actually Jacob's Ladder; he's actually been in a coma since his school days and the whole thing is a dream about what his life could have been ...I haven't played this one much. A bit of first release, but that's it. But, after reading all of these comments, has anyone even thought that maybe, since the MC is a cop, he got shot in the head and while not in a coma, he's in some sort of weird dream fugue state?
Yeah, I'm probably grasping at straws here, but, if it's as crazy as people are posting, it's the only thing my mind can come up with.
... then he dies and the dream ends

Her story is interesting because it highlights some of the endemic problems with japanese society in general, it is a failure of humanity on every level and despite happening so long ago is another drop in the bucket of human barbarism that should never be forgotten lest it be repeated. unfortunately it often is.
I don't care where the story is 'set' but I understand why others have a problem with it in this situation.
What I do have a problem with is this update focusing on characters I don't care about at all. Before this update things were progressing and I was looking forward to the further development of my relationship with the characters. But instead of got all flashbacks. Flashbacks of people we don't know or care about or will most likely ever see again. Of course some backstory/flashbacks are good but not at the expense of furthering the story. Aside from that this game is amazing!

As i have read this, i thought Madison has talked about a overly expensive high class fashion lable that i don'T know because I'm a fucking fashion barbarian... As you pointes this out, i hear heard about Ginza, but it would had never in 1000 years come to my mind that we are talking about this place in Tokyo. If there would be some reference that the game is placed in japan it by me the case, but so? surely not, at least for me...
That, and the arcitecture, was the time when I started to realise the the game is entirely placed in Japan, not only the flashback. I was so confused that i have started to rollback to check if I had something missed because I had the impression that the game is placed in a random western region just because all interactions between the cast looked for me all but not japanese.
To be clear, i have absolutly no problem with the regional placement of the game. In my case, I personally find it refreshing to something new and not always the same overused livingroom or other shitty daz assets.

Will we soon find out if Antonella is alive or not, the suspence is killing me hehe Hope we get an answer to it soon so Mc can start tracking her down if she shows up to be alive so MC and his daughter can find her.

Holy quality drop-off Batman. I was about become a Patreon but then this update dropped. Clearly something has happened to the team creating it. There's no way the team that designed and engineered the first two updates is still intact. Anybody have the scoop?
Just to be precise. I'm talking about the overall quality. Every single aspect of the writing (character design, dialogue construction, the freaking grammar/syntax, plot points) has suffered a massive downgrade in quality. There is no way I believe this resulted from a computer issue. Clearly, someone who was working on the project is no longer. The rendering has suffered too. Animation is choppy, posing is bizarre, etc. Saying all of this is related to a computer issue is a little silly to me. IDK. Maybe I need to go back and play the first part. Maybe I was insane when I played it? Because I thought it was great (minus the one-dimensional father figure character).

I am going to be honest....I hope Antonella just decided she didn't want to be a teen mother and left. Kind of tire with the whole 'she was kidnapped or blackmailed' tropes. It would be funny to see the MC reaction to finding her already married and with kids(the blonde from the train station)....don't mind, just me talking shit.
Im just pass the prologue and want to ask.. Will the MC ever stop moping about his ex. He mops on and on. I wish it would stop. Any option to shut him up would be nice. I'd rather he move on and look to the future. If she abandoned them, then let the past be the past. Should be about the daughter now and his harem. Is his moping and whining going to keep going through the story ? Starting to irritate me. Move on or shut up ><. and hes been saying in inner monologue some retarted shit too. Irks me more. I installed the... I-pass patch, but when something happened with Amber at midnight, the MC ran away from the ecchi like a wimp. Is that normal ? Feels like I did something wrong and missed the scene here. Ambers dity talk was so dam spicy too, but mc still jumped off the bed to get away.

I guess you have not read the Synopsis or Overview? The backstory is that MC basically had a near death experience (we are not told yet what it was in the overview or the Prologue) and when he wakes up or recovering (or something like that), he relived his first love, which apparently had the biggest impact on his life (purely my speculation). So, I guess that is why he seemed to be 'moping' and 'whining' non-stop. That event/experience triggered it, MC had move on years ago (it's been approximately 18 years since Antonella left).
However, I don't know if he continues like that for the rest of the game because I only reached the middle of Chapter 1. Others can give you a fuller 'spoiler' on that matter. Cheers.

hmm I see, I mustnt of installed it properly, in my playtrhough, she pulled it out and then the MC started yelling at her. Then she went all seductive as fuck, and MC jumped off the bed to get away asif he was trying to protect his chasity. to remain a choir boy

There really should be an option to move on from Antonella for players that didn't really have interest in her and liked other love interests(Amber, in my case).
This about to be a hot take but I do hope Antonella just tells the MC she didn't want to be with him, if they met again in the future. In fact, I hope she really chose her future path over being with the MC and her daughter. That would actually be an interesting outcome to read through. The MC's reaction is something I would love to see as well.

I was fine with the MC moping about her earlier because he was drugged up after getting shot but I also hope it doesn't go on and on in future updates. I'm more interested in the present cast than I am in her, to be frank.

Without knowing, I knew the dev had to be female. The story is so so beautiful I tear up with sadness and joy. I'm not sure if a man can express these feelings as well as a woman. I'm not saying a man can't feel these feelings but expressing them the way you do just reaches down to the depths of my soul. I'm an old man these days and my youngest daughter, whom I love dearly, is a psychologist, she says it is common for men as they age to get more in touch with their emotions and be able to express their emotions openly more easily and most women go in the opposite direction. I love this story/game, you have me on an emotional rollercoaster. It is also so sexy and the renders are beautiful and you make the characters so believable. I am at the part where the MC starts his first day in the house his daughter fixed up for him. I getting back to the story right now. I just wanted to say, thank you, Yukana, for bringing this beautiful story into my life and I hope I have a long way to go before it is done. I am following this story.
