For me the important thing is you enjoy playing it. Even if you decide not to hook up with anyone, if I end up giving you some solid entertainment then that's not a bad thing, I don't think? As an aside, one of the elements of the design was that it could actually be played without hooking up with anyone. Not that I expect that to happen, but it helped make the rest of the game solid. It didn't hinge on becoming a bonk-fest to progress. It also massively helped with the choice and path dynamics. Also, I liked the idea that players could want to spend time with characters but not necessarily feel that spending time with them meant an auto-romance y'know?

But we've still more characters to go. I've Walker, McGruder and Harris to introduce yet, (given the complexity of them all, I have to introduce them slowly really). So who knows, mebbe your LT will find someone yet. :)
Thank you, I love that you are making a game which has optional sex in it instead of the other way around (hmm... although "sex with an optional game in it" could be fun). To me the best looking "character" happens to be the render of "you" :ROFLMAO:. The rest of the characters aren't that attractive or, when considering Trisha and Chris unattached (my MC would consider them as viable partners if not for the whole cheating aspect). I have a feeling that I won't like Dr Walker considering how she is talked about so far. Realistically my MC isn't going to hold his breath that there are any really likely candidates, he will just take a lot of cold showers and try to focus on fixing the power issues in the next 5 days.

Becca does have a few admirers for sure - although some seem to prefer Jane *crinkles nose*. You could just play the intro and then skip to the FAQ's? ;)

Well, she's still gorgeous petite fit redhead and hopefully at least slightly crazy, so that's not a bad package either. ;)

Any word as to when remastered chapter 3 will arrive? (I normally don't like asking about updates but my celibate LT is wondering if he'll have a chance next chapter)

When it's ready. :cool: It's too early in the development cycle to make any estimations.

Well, Two only came out a couple of weeks ago, so not imminently I'm afraid. As you'll appreciate H5 is a big game (even Two had ten significant endings and forty paths) so the workload is fairly heavy.

Not so much the writing. That I find easy, even if the word count is equivalent to novel (it is too *checked*) and the quality is rather high, and ofc it helps that the whole thing is plotted and I'm not making it up as I go along.

The big restriction is the speed of image production. A single card (although a good one), coupled with the number of images I need is the blocker. Chapter Two needed some 1,400 renders for stills and around 4,000 for the animations. Even limiting myself to a maximum render time of 20 mins per render, by compromising on the render quality, there is only so much I can do in respect of speed of production I'm afraid. I know I could cut down the number of renders needed by either changing my style or looping the animations but...it wouldn't be the same game if I did.

I'll have a better idea tho once I've got the sections done.


Harris will be on remastered chapter 3 right? :unsure:
We'll have to wait and see... ;)
