Ya know, I kind of feel the same way sometimes. Just tried this one today, and it's interesting, I like where it's going, but I tend to agree; throw a dog a bone sometime, eh? Build up is nice, but the tease makes it hard to endure the wait. The possibility that I'll end up forgetting about it is there cause there's nothing concrete and no real assurance that you'll even get it the next time. I really did the "is that it?" take at the end, too. Would have rather not known about this one until it was a more fully fleshed out release - keep me coming back for more, don't just build up any hope and then crush the player, kind of thing. A whole year and a half of a wait is kind of a long blue ball, and I just found out about it today.
Despite that, I probably will come back to it again in the future, but I would also just assume ask someone else and let them tell me it's there, especially when there are many other good VN's out there that are a little more forgiving in this regard.
Don't mean to make this sound like I'm bashing the game, however. I do actually like it, but it really just goes back to the beginning and the question that needs to be answered; what exactly are we here for, and is that need being fulfilled? even minimally? Otherwise, spend more time with it and release it when it gets to that point, imo. There are certainly players that enjoy that aspect of development, but it's something I think developers here could learn and take to heart as a future guideline. Perhaps it will even generate interest and support.
But... hardly prudent for me to tell someone else how to do things, especially since I'm not a developer. More of a suggestion, I guess.

Make sure to remember when you're using 'we' in that question you are really meaning 'me' as not everyone is the same. Your purpose is not everyone's.
As the game gets longer and gets more involved fans with time spent. The chances it is satisfying those fans goes up since they are there. Any personal dissatisfaction is then due to a difference in personal tastes of players, and not lack of game design.
Remember I'm actually quoting someone else, not you. I specifically state this at the end (that was edited, admittedly) that if you are fine with the development, that's great, I'm happy for you. But let's switch up your interpretation of what I'm saying (which is not meant to be an insult) and say that "we" obviously doesn't mean you and can be a whole other host of people, such as who I quoted, and others who don't speak. The implication here is that you think everyone is satisfied, and I can guarantee that is not the case. We are posting on the adult game forums, ya know.
That being said, I don't want to argue, and I'm sorry if I offended you or the developer, because that was not my intention.

Try to remember even if we are in update 2 that the people have only met each other the same day and are in a professional setting. So things actually move already pretty fast.
If Notty keeps the same progression as was original you will not see any full sex in update 3 either with the main chars , which is actually only the second day for the story (though for those on certain paths there were some things happening) and first will appear with the characters of the game itself in chapter 4. Now I also do not know how much she changed that and if she might bring something forward, kinda unlikely since it would not make much sense yet. (Also with chapter 3 the introducion fase of the game ends and the main story will start to play out starting chapter 4).
Developers definitely take different approaches to it, for sure. I've even made note of this in another post where someone else was slightly disappointed with a different game; you either get the "straight to fuckin'" development, or you get the "build up a story" version, and both are fine, not knocking this one at all really, as I said I enjoyed it for the most part, though there definitely is that nagging "man, I really wish it at least gave* me something more" feeling. I suppose I at least know where this one is on the spectrum... heh.

Yeah you will need some patience until chapter 4, before teasing goes to action.
Now that is way before update 0.8 though and third day in game so not extreme slow I would say, besides you might find a few things in chapter 3, just not with the main chars themselves. As Neimad said this is first and foremost an Adult story game, but Notty is intending to let those who want some adult to get theirs too during the game. Now some of that might be even too much for some I suspect. I was just thinking, though... part of the problem (which, to reiterate, is not actually *my* problem, just an observation) might be that Chris is a major horndog in both chapters, comes on strong to everyone (with lady parts, I'm assuming?), which is a bit odd and disingenuous considering the slow roll of the game, you almost expect her to just break into your room and take you right there... but then it doesn't happen. That might be something to look at for chapter 3 if given the time. It's an easy in for fulfilling at least some of that craving players might have.

At this point I feel like if there's anyone pants you could get in easily in chapter 3 it's Trisha's, that scene in the plant basically leads to "come fuck me in my lab tomorrow"
I haven't played that route yet, but I heard/saw there were a lot of different interactions/ends here, so I'll have to check it out.

Ah be aware any of the ladies have a bit more depth as at first might appear and remember Chris is a fan of control in all things and so also in her action. Besides for that bit more wild side from Chris, she likely enjoys the hunt more as the catch. If you really want more you better keep her interested I suspect.

I'd suggest not looking at the characters here as you would in generic porn, but as if they were real people with real motivations. There's depth to all of them and what you might perceive could differ significantly from reality. Forget the stereotypes.

I have played CoC with Sarah ... several times now, because I was assuming that to be related to the post game remark:
"You didn't learn about witches"
How exactly does one learn about witches? The walkthrough is not exhaustive enough for that kind of detail, and I am very curious!
Just starting playing for first time, and I am filling up the save slots with favorite scenes and various play-paths. The game is a lot of fun! I signed up for the $5/month. Don't know how long I'll be subscribed, but Nottravis definitely deserved some support from me on this one. Can't wait for the next update! Thanks for making Heavy Five.

It was a scene with Annie at the bar, I believe you had to use humour with her in CH1 for it to happen
