Chill the only times we're being serious in here is when we're praising the game's quality. Most of the rest of the time if we're not funny we're at least trying to be.

Then I like the new one better, and there could very well be an in-story reason for it, from bad lighting on picture day, a bad hair day, to Ophion having a fountain of youth. We don't know yet. XD

The "new new" one, to go with your line of thought, was just a test of some more detailed and thus more render hamster demanding bits, I believe. There's no story reason for that one.
Yes, same model, but not the same hairstyle, lighting, make-up, etc. You know how those driver's license pictures can be...That's the same Amanda as the one on the roof, believe it or not.

True, but those are all changes that can be achieved naturally.
That one has a different skin, eyebrows, and possibly eyes. That's very different. It's not about the expression, really.
The eyes and the eyebrows, sure, both of them could be done in real life as well though (I know far too many women who pluck their eyebrows and wear contacts).
The skin, I don't see it much (other than the eyebrows which is generally part of the skin), it is slight enough that it could be the lighting or make-up.
The eyes I don't care about, but the eyebrows are worse on this one, and the expression amplifies it. At least the eyebrow remover works for gen3 so you can add your own, for gen8 it can be a problem. I have to do them manually in photoshop, can be hard to get the shading right.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but along with the obvious "please support the game" messages in the game itself, would a "please review the game" message also help with getting the game out there?

Somewhat, but aside from the eyebrows, it's not enough that it would bother me, at least from what I can see here, it's hard to say it some of it is the skin or the lighting though. They are under a red light, so her skin would have a bit more red to it.

You can compare it also with the rescue mission renders that are in daylight. That makes it clear.
Except what you are comparing to is not in the daylight... I was comparing night to night, comparing day to night is not going to give you a good comparison. But either way, I think we both like the old skin better. If nothing else, the eyebrows are a lot better.
