Unreal Engine Abandoned LifePlay [v2023.04 Stable] [Vinfamy]
Is there a way to speed up the movement of the camera when using the wasd keys? I feel they move so slowly and it's really annoying me.

there are many situations in the game that are hard to understand
for example
install the MODS etc
Do you know Illusion's "live home" game?
he made a youtube video explaining everything
probably more people would play
this game too was hard
this is just my opinion

why do you need a video to know how to play, the game practically holds your hand and shows you what to do, the game isn't really that complicated.
you need to add them yourself ( the map data is from OpenStreetMap, which is a safe-for-work site so no data about stripclubs and brothels). Click on any building > Edit building
Does anyone know why all i see in the game is a blank screen whit all the texts and dialogues on it?
sounds like you downloaded the Update Only file (just over 100mb), instead of the full version (1.3 gb). Update Only download is only for those that already have a previous version of the game.

Yup game is super unfriendly to new player, you don't know what trillions of numbers do, how much they matter, what you need to unlock specific scenes, you don't see a difference between for example 40 perversion and 50 perversion. Most activities give like +0,01 to a stat and you need to at least waste 20 secs per this kind of operation (more if you waiting for an event). Map is super big (and i dont know what for to be honest) and most activities don't tell you what can you expect while doing them, for example do you need to actually work out at gym to get gym related event or you just may sight see there or some shit... and holly shit there are trillions of activities that you can do and you soon mostly try everything blindly. God only knows how much time i wasted to actually understand what each stat does, what activities do, what I'm in general suppose to do and i still propably dont know a shit.
On other note what's most nuts at this moment is that pregnancy and ageing are in general in real time, so for example you impregnated a girl if you don't edit how much pregnancy lasts, you will need to wait 9 mouths and if you actually wanted to play this game as the game suggests you to play, if you visited every activity you suppose to like do per day you will like waste at least 30 minutes of your time per in game day. So by using math if you impregnated a girl and actually play those activities as you suppose to play, and keep pregnancy as game sugest you to put it on default, you would need to play 139 hours, that means even if you played 12 h per day, it's still 11/12 days of your life invested doing mostly same thing and watching same events over and over again. And believe me you don't actually what me to calculate how much time you would need to spend if you wanted those kids to mature :V Of course you can edit how much pregnancy lasts, how much kids are growing up, but why this is even and option, and even more set to default ? :V Like if this game really wants to be so hard core realistic it those aspects then if needs super hard core in game progression to actually keep you occupied all this time, if not then why not learn from others and similarly to Sims 3 or 2 make time less realistic and in general, and more as in game mechanic than something that tries to be overly ambitious but doesn't goes anywhere with it. Cuz honestly, i dont get why on some parts this game tries to be overly realistic, and on some parts it goes on even more unrealistic shortcuts then sims games. Like at this moment, even if a whole year lasted like 7 in game days, and pregnancy lasted 5 days, this whould make 10 time more sense at this moment in my opinion.

No it desnt, it just tells you "get haircut" or "find a job". Doesnt tell you why, doenst explain what stats do how much meaning their have, why you supose to do some activities etc. And if an in game tip dealer that says "find and job and find a house" is "holding player by the hand" is best joke ive seen on this page since this Milf City thread, saying thing you whould figure out in 1 minute tops is huge help and "hand holding" for new player to dive into ocean of in game meaningless numbers. :V
Personaly I have never found anything difficult about the game, other than some of the stats seem backwards to me (Pregnancy,dominance). I think it's more about what you are expecting from it. I am quite happy to go in and just try stuff out, with no real aim or goals. Some people want a more gameplay, story related experiance. Have to admit though the helper function is the most anoying part of the whole game for me(Let me turn it off, Please). Its like sims tutorial, but permanantly switched on.
I think a much better system would be an achievment style one, Game: go get a job, any job(right click on building/ get job) - You:Ok - Game
a Da, your great, gain 1 lifetime happiness. You: Ok now get off my screen and never come back again!
Then again I remove all the speech and discription files, so I dont get text boxes over my porn!. And I have loads of edited script so I dont keep getting things like "Your wife is ugly, what you gonna do about it" Sorry Vinfamy nothing wrong with the writing, it just gets boring after the first 1000 times.
Still love the game though!

Not sure if you are aware of this, or if its intended. but I have just noticed almost all scenes never trigger, unless you are doing something! If you stand around doing nothing (Waiting) nothing ever happens apart from things like births. If for example you watch a movie, then scenes trigger.
this could be why some people dont know what to do in the game, they may just be waiting for something to happen.

To be honest, I think some people just play too many Renpy and RPGMaker games on here that they just expect the same gameplay and structured story (go there > do this > unlock this H-scene) in every games and struggle with the freedom (I've seen tons of comments on here asking for a walkthrough guide to unlock H-scenes before even downloading the game). I've yet to receive any complaints about not knowing what to do at all from LoversLab users for example (mostly Bethesda games' fans, some Sims fans) , this complaint is pretty much unique to f95. Even we ignore the fact that the game has tutorials, tooltips, FAQ, and recommended actions feature (the latter can reduce the gameplay to pretty much pressing R again and again, not all that more difficult than a Renpy game), there are icons popping up on the map, surely the natural reaction is to try click on them?

And may i ask what structure of unlocking "h-scenes" this game has at this moment? Because with all due respect they work similarly here, you need to go there, wait for event, pick proper dialog and enjoy and i mean trigger conditions. Most trigger conditions for example a sex with boss during job interview work at least on that level exactly the same, and if it was put in those types of games mentioned above no one would see a difference. I agree sex scenes are totally different then from those games, because they are more similar to honey select when you pick positions etc, and don't have forced one type of scene per encounter... but trigger conditions? Thats the hidden brilliance in here that those filthy rpgmaker and renpy players dont see here?
Secondly blaming players that they don't know what to do because they are filthy RPGmaker/Renpy players or Sims/Bethesda fans, is a bit low in my opinion, and acualy funny when you compare how this game looks and how games mention above look. It's similar to those guys that made Ghost Busters 2016, blame viewers of "sexism" because they don't understood how good movie was, when it was actually... well shit.
I agree that game isn't hard to play, because actually you don't even need to do anything for it to almost play itself, but i think more people are confused when they see actually number of actions they can perform, stats upon stats, and numbers upon numbers and they assume that they MUST have some deeper meaning/content, and when nothing happens they feel they may be doing something wrong, and later finally they discover that those actually have no meaning, and whole fun in freedom here in is to see "bar filling" from left to right.
So yeah for people that may played some of the games mentioned before may be confused, that they actually don't even need to play a game here, or do 99.9% of things. I think those filthy rpgmaker and renpy players may more expect actual gameplay, not necessary same gameplay, and the fact its nonexistent may confuse them, especially because game in providing so many actions, stats etc. is really good into jebaiting you it actually has content, behind them.
And my post may seem a bit harsh, but it slightly triggers me when i see creators complaining about players/viewers and categorizing them so they may feel somehow "better" than them, and completely ignoring the fact, or at least consider... there may be something actually true behind some of those complains, especly if you cry a few pages before that project doesn't get enough funding and you cannot focus so much on adding content as you would like to, especially since some of those games renpy/rpgmaker games get enough founding.
