It has been a while since I tried this last. Is the game still really tight with requirements? Like if you do something out of order its going to mess up your ability to see scenes the rest of the game? I know you used to have to follow a walkthrough realllllly tight in the past or your playthrough was horrible. Is this still true?

Thankfully, this was NEVER true. It was the opposite, in fact. People were following an out-of-date walkthrough and getting confused. Honestly, you can do pretty much whatever, in whatever order, and not miss anything.

There's only one event, near the beginning that's time-sensitive, and the game is very clear about that. You can also permanently screw up the romance with your sister, but the game gives you like 5 warnings. You're free to just have fun with it.

I have seen no such reports by briefly searching the official Ren'py forums, so I'm not too worried at the moment. The closest was an issue with antivirus two minor versions ago, but that was fixed. Still, I'm paying close attention to any reports.

Windows XP is definitely not supported anymore, though.

I just tried the game on a VMWare VN running Windows 8 and there were no issues. If the problem is with Windows 7 and older OSes, then that's not something I'll try to solve. Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 last year.

If people running Windows 8 or newer run into issues, I'd love to hear about them. If you're running Windows 7 or older, you're doing so at your own risk. I can't let outdated, abandoned software hold back the tools I work with.

It's one branch of the story, she doesn't have to leave if you handle it well. The game story is over, you can play until the ending and have an ending with Evelyn where she's pregnant, now Belle has revisited some earlier parts of the game, that's all.

Really cool to see all the improved/redone scenes. Gets you excited for whatever Belle has coming up after LLtP.

I'm a win7 64bit user, tried the newest version out of curiosity and it worked without an issue. Also tried another game which is using latest Ren'Py version and that worked too.

Finally tried the one by Slim Games and it gave me the error, so it looks like there's something wrong with Slim Games release, they might have heavily modified the Ren'Py or added some weird plugin, etc.

I really hope they add a perfect harem ending: I last played just before they revealed who (obviously) the witch was. Changed computers meanwhile so I'd have to replay everything so I'm thinking I might as well wait for it to complete if there ain't any extra preggo content

Not necessarily, its more likely due to relying on some Python 2 specific function.

Python 2 has received EOL last year, but Ren'Py still uses it; The new Ren'Py version (7.4) was made to, among other reasons, prepare for Python 3 switch which should happen, according to PyTom, on Ren'Py 8.
