If you're talking about the investigation to keep Primrose out of jail for the murder, then yes there is still a time limit. That said, there's plenty of time to successfully complete it, as long as you pay attention, use your head a little, and focus on the task at hand instead of wandering off to try and bang some other girl or whatever.
Now, if you're going to tell me that you get to Day XX and Option YY isn't there, well then you're using that bloody walkthrough and that's your problem right there.

I'm guessing English isn't your first language, so maybe we just have a communication gap going on, but I'm not sure what anything you just said has to do with *this* game.
This game has not been abandoned, nor is it on hold, the dev already responded directly to you. This game is "story complete". Meaning you can play the whole game, right up to winning (or failing miserably) at the end and watch an epilogue afterwards. The continuing development is adding in additional side content and other features to make replaying it more attractive, complete with a NG+ feature that makes it easier to win if you failed on your first try.
So I guess I'm at a loss as to what you're complaining about.
Need an updated walkthrough that tells you when to save separate files and when to go back, etc.

In my opinion there should be more clear information in the opening post, an highlighted sentence in the description of the game that explains that there are two versions of the game, both maintained by the author, what's the difference between them and which one we are downloading from the links. The first post should give all the information needed so people avoid getting confused and asking in the thread.

No, you really don't. Make sure you've completely solved the Crone quest line, and you have solved The Fey Queen's riddle. If you've done those things, then I'm pretty sure you will have had to do anything else required to reach the winning end.

The in-game todo list is effectively a high level walkthrough. Follow the list, and you'll be good to go. You won't miss things.

I should probably specify the reason I asked about wt isn't that I get stuck at some point, the story flows pretty smooth for me. It's just that on my first game I got an unexpected "sad" ending, despite having good relationships with most of the girls. I'm not planning to play following a guide step-by-step, I was just wondering if I can look at some hints there on how to unlock the best paths with the girls I like this time, cuz the game is great but I don't think I'll have the time to replay it again and again
Anyone know if the Harem Ending Mod requires update? Will mod version 0.37 work with game version 0.38?
Her story is done; there will be no more content for her. Belle has confirmed this.

Like I said earlier, to get the best ending you need to fully progress both the Crone and Fairy Queen story lines.

Finished the game. P. great, but if there's more content on the way, like a NellxThorn threesome, I'm not complaining. Selena threesome end is currently the best though, but to be fair it's technically the only one with an animated scene whereas everything else just gets CGs.
