I played the game yesterday for the first time and I really like it very much, so I became a patreon. I support the dev for what he/she is wanting to do with the game. I can give my opinion about what I like or not, but in the end it's the game of the dev and he/she decides where it is going.
Everyone has the freedom to play a game or leave it be if there is stuff you don't like. I do many things in such games I wouldn't do or accept in real life but still find them arousing! It's all about fantasy. For example I discovered NTR is a turn-on for me, in a game, in real life it would end in a bloodshed. So open your mind or move on. But will I stop playing this game because of a lack of this content? No!
See that's the thing though, ntr fans have no problem playing non ntr games. Whereas non ntr gamers (the massive majority of, well, everyone) would rather eat their dinner out of a public urinal than subject themselves to it... So saying "Live and let live" in regards to this doesn't really work.

Edit: yeah, last time I was here was Sept 17th, and the game was still v0.1 and you were just putting the finishing touches on v0.15. Pretty sure you didn't have a Patreon then, and since the game was pretty thin but intriguing enough to bookmark to check back at a later time :)
A veteran, huh? :) Actually, I launched the game and the Patreon page simultaneously, so it's always been around. I don't know how visible the Patreon was around here though. This isn't my thread, so I didn't make the OP.

Apparently not very visible at all, heh. But yeah, this game was intriguing enough for a bookmark in a "check back later" folder.

I might be confusing your not having a Patreon with another game dev. That's the problem with putting a game in a bookmark folder for several months without checking regularly can make

So my post where I called people complaining for 3 pages straight "crybabies" got cancelled... What term was I supposed to use mods?

Careful throwing that stone 'crybaby' around mate.... one could argue its "crybaby" NTR fans crying over there NOT being NTR in a game being more of an issue than people "crying" over its inclusion.

Then consider that, from what I've seen, many games that originally weren't intended to include NTR from the start seem to die quickly, whether from the author losing interest in pandering to a fetish they don't like; or because Patrons stop paying them and the author stops working for free.

In this case, since Belle's working without a Patreon (or afaik similar funding), and she's mentioned that it's not her primary goal beyond branching, so... yeah, you can 'cry' all you want, but NTR isn't going to be a major part of this game. If you don't like it, go write, program and release your own game instead?
I think you misunderstood everything I said during this argument in general, and I don't really want to start explaining myself from the beginning.

Wait, wait I just gotta ask to be sure.

1 You both would rather eat dinner out of a public urinal than play a game with one possible scene with NTR (your deffinition of it, not mine) which is avoidable?

2 You both think the majority of the human race thinks the same?

So last time I played was version 0.3 and I've just played through version 0.6.

The new characters are interesting and different, which is always good. I very much prefer Nell though. I'm sad to see that not much focus has been put on to my favourite characters though, those being Primrose (no real advancement) and Belle (plenty of advancement but I'm greedy)

That little pixie is my favourite and she's so perfectly written. I keep forgetting I'm playing a porn game.

Anyway, love the game and it's a shame that 0.6 is actually quite close to the end. I look forward to the further adventures of Belle, as she seems an ideal character to carry over into all sorts of stories elsewhere. Thanks for making it.

I'm not sure if you mean that you're close to finishing it or if you mean that development of Long Live the Princess is almost ending, but the latter would be wrong. We're not going to move onto 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, and then 1.0. We're moving from 0.9 to 0.10 and so on, until the game is done. We're a long way from the finish line yet.

No no. Never said I was talking about this game. After talking with Belle I'm confident in this games future. :)

Obviously I was exaggerating for effect with my urinal comment, but, I'm guessing you likely knew that and just thought you were being 'clever'? Well bravo, you got me!

NTR, not again. Why does always have to be with games I like and why my favorite character.:frown: Its very disappointing. Even more so that its not optional. What is this thing with sneaking it into a game. There is a reason why people don't like it. Be upfront with us.
It's completely optional in this game. Actually if you want romance then you are literally rewarded for stopping it and punished for letting it happen.

Just ignore the walkthrough.

Where oh where do people get this idea from? I keep explaining that it's not true. Other people keep explaining that it's not true. Yet still people keep coming into the thread and acting disappointed over something that isn't being claimed anywhere that I can see. Why?

Sneaky edit: Would it be too much to ask for people to actually play the thing before they start complaining?

My mistake it seems.

That's good news!

Sure, but you didn't play this update, apparently.
I just haven't gotten around to this update. I was just about to play it. I have a busy life sometimes. I'm sorry but Its just that seems like It pops up everywhere these days. Game you like and enjoy than BAM NTR out of nowhere. Leaves people confused and upset.
This not a rag on you but Its jut been happening a lot with adult games
