When in doubt grab the newest Saves and plug them in. You'll get to play the "good parts" and it will give you a better sense of the game.

I went through the link on the opening page but the version was v0.21.5

I don't understand some people's complaints about the grind. Sandbox, which this game is, implies grind. Here it is presented in a fairly gentle form, there are good hints, there is no need of walkthrough.
If we are talking about grind, senseless and merciless, then games like Tangled Up or Foot of the Mountain are at your disposal

Yo. Open the folder named after the game. There you'll see a couple folders and the game itself. Click on the folder called "Game". Then you'll see a folder called "Saves".

There's no save-folder there. Just a -cache and a -tl folder

Same thing here. This has been happening (seemingly) every time there's an update & honestly if I'm having to grind all all over again just to get back to where I was, I'll just go elsewhere. ‍♂

Unlike almost every other game, this dev has named his saves uniquely. Look for 'thelifeofthepervertedfather-nnnnnnnn' in the usual save directory (depending on your OS) and you will have the save for MUH.
