Yes, v6.01 (I thought it was kinda weird since it said in the intro that ye could start from the beginning, but then when I tried it just force closed, so I don't know... bug maybe?)

bearclaw01234, I restarted the game with 6.01 (for gallery completion) and had no problems - so odd indeed! But you could try the 6.012 version, maybe that one works for you?

I do not have 6.01 here to test but I do have 6.05 and cleared out the save folder in the game and also in the users where the main game saves are stored and it came right up just like a first time install. Those locations are:

It force closed on me during that first picture & didn't get to that picture of the guy, but i'm goin to try v6.012 & see if I can play it.. we'll see.

I just deleted it when it wouldn't work. I'm just goin to get the v6.012 later & try it. I may end of trying your suggestion if this one doesn't work, but i'll see how it goes first before attempting to delete folders in the game's files.
You don't have to Delete them... Move them to a different folder like I did, and you will still have them.
Look at the second screen shot and you will see that I have 2 backup folders in the AppsData That way you will still have them. Then if things work out you can just dump the whole folder or just the files in it. It is a good way to do testing.

- this is Windows version of episode 1 to 6 - try this oneLook at my post above and the top two pics have the locations on your drive. The Blue marked out part is of course what ever the user name is on the computer. I often use an SD Card to store and also test, so the location in that pic will of course will be where you installed MBFD. I hope this helps.

Ok, I've been stuck in episode 5 59/64 for days, can find pearls everyday, have read the scenes im missing, It shows i only need 3, have tried numerous times and nothing.. wtf!! One says shark attack and I can't get that, one says she has to be topless and wearing thong on beach, can't get that,,

Ok it worked, however episode 6 started off with girl washed up on beach, and after a few scenes it says ,"you can't play this version " ????
Well 6 (public) came out on the 14th of April, and on average it's about a month between updates, so probably in a few weeks
