Yeah he seems real worried about her.... If someone you supposedly love goes missing you would do everything in your power to find them. You cant This guy is rich...has all the free time in the world cause he has no job. Unless you count breeding a harem of women the job. All he has done from what I can tell is ask the red queen chick to help find her. That's it! He just continues his life as if nothing has happened. YES! I know it's a porn VN game, but the writing is just terrible and unrelatable decision making going on.
Sure, because there is only
one other realm possible where she could be. And, of course, he's
incredibly familiar with realms other than earth; he hasn't needed a guide
ever to do a simple quest when they knew where last Morna had been seen. Go ahead, wander an infinite number of dimensions with a finite amount of life. Makes sense. I'm sure you'll succeed; sounds like anything but terrible writing to me.
OK, it's unrelatable to you. (I assume it is for everyone, given that we don't have the ability to go to other dimensions.) And I never said the writing was great. But you act like "you would do everything in your power" includes doing things
not within the MC's power. He can only ever travel to other dimensions when someone from there brings him through a portal. He can't create the portals himself. Also, whenever he is in that other dimension, it seems he can only ever stay a day or two. He's always told he needs to go back; even if he wanted to, apparently he's not permitted to stay. Some of the game overs have been when he's specifically upset the Queen. She herself tells him he must return; I don't think she's giving him a choice. If he had so much power to travel dimensions and find Demi on his own, the Queen really wouldn't be able to end him so easily or order the MC around.
Funny that you mention "breeding a harem of women" as being his job, because it
literally is. Supposedly he needs to keep bringing back "love juice" to his queen to make sure she gets enough power to save everyone . . . I think. Anyway, the point is that although Demi is missing, he
does still have a specific overall mission he has to fulfill, as ridiculous as that mission is. He has to continue to establish and maintain his harem or the Queen will never gain enough power and he will never become what is needed to save those he loved in his past.
Running around without a single clue as to where you're going — where you
need to go — is possibly the
dumbest thing the MC could do. Personally, I think his rescuing of Morna was a big mistake. "I have this greater mission on which
literally hundreds (if not thousands) of beings rely, but I'm gonna be all emotional and forget
everyone else depending on me to go rescue a single person." I get being emotionally tied to someone, but too much emotion makes for a lot of short-sightedness and bad decisions.
I'm sure you disagree with all of this. I accept that. IJS that while I don't think the game has great writing overall, I do think you're being overly harsh on how this latest part of the story has gone. You may not like the NTR, and you may not like the MC's lack of effort to go himself to find Demi. In no way, however, does that mean that he isn't worried about her. Just because someone fails to act doesn't mean they are unfeeling or uncaring.
