Not really. Demi went missing for how long? And what does the idiot does to find her?
But you actually are. You literally said that, because the MC (in a past incarnation) was an amazing warrior, he should be an incredible one now. That's called an assumption, one that isn't based on any evidence in the story so far. There hasn't been a single scene where the modern-day MC has demonstrated an ability to be unmatched in any kind of battle. In fact, the opposite is generally true: he gets killed in completely ridiculous ways. The MC has demonstrated a complete lack of awareness to his surroundings, given that
an entire plane can fall out of the sky without him first hearing or seeing it so he can just completely vacate the area where it's going to crash.
Don't get me wrong: I don't agree with completely ludicrous scenarios like that, but if
that's true, it would be even more unbelievable that the MC would have fine-tuned warrior instincts to do anything more than piss himself when a real opponent showed up.
He's cocky and an ass, but he's no warrior. He thinks with his dick and makes really stupid decisions. It's been a while now, but doesn't he
trying to investigate the rooftop to find out what might have happened to Demi without having any clue how to defeat a succubus? (Frankly, it's a lot harder for me to believe the apparently universal, irresistible attraction to the MC than it is that the MC would be pathetic at fighting because he's a much later reincarnation that hasn't been properly trained in combat.)
I will also say that I find it stupid to provide "decisions" when there's only one choice unless you're trying to find an excuse to end the game. The only thing that keeps this from being a
kinetic novel masquerading as a
visual one is having options of which woman you're going to magically entrance and bed.
