The only part where the phone locks is after chatting with Emma. To unlock it you have to call her.

It sure sucks that you have to start a new game to fix the brightness, but that's fine. The last time I played was last March. So it's fine to understand the story and all again.

Seems like this is a problem with old saves and the only solution is starting a fresh game.

Started a new game with the updated mod: first scene with the phone and I got freezed again!
So I used my old saves and they work till I got freezed when I must call Zoe and the phone is disappeared!
