Is the dev having a laugh? I think I'm officially putting them on Lilith's Throne tier of "bad devs".
I get that this is an April Fool's update but like, to say the big bolded part after skipping 2 months, like, are they just this oblivious to how bad of a dev they are? The biggest joke here is the dev, not the content.

The dev is a college student (allegedly), so I don't expect big commitment here. We don't even know if he'll stay in the adult game business if he graduates.

What he's doing is bad indicator no matter what his status is.
If he's doing a business, he need to act on due diligence. If you want to willy nilly, don't charge people on a business model that asking for monthly subscription, when you can't give what people paid for.
Then again, that's the problem with this whole crowdfunding / porn game industry being don't have enough regulations, I wouldn't blame people acting on only their own benefits. (we are pirating here remember? )
It's just a shame it turns out this way.

College student or not doesn't really matter. If you're taking money from people for a product/service you are providing, you have an obligation to deliver. OIHS doesn't really have the base meatiness (and free roaming nature) of LT, so it looks a lot worse when they just give nothing.
(also it's sad I'm giving props to LT for anything over another game, that's how you know how messed up this situation is)

For sure, and it's why I even throw games money every so often as I'd like to support some of them. I still think LD (Lustful Desires) is worth it and Hyao's a solid enough guy to not pull shit like this, he just gets a *lot* of flak and it gets to him for sure.
This though, this almost feels malicious, like LT.

I wanted to give the dev the benefit of the doubt, it's out of ignorance rather than malice - since he's college student, maybe he didn't really thought out of a lot of things, that some practices should not be done. (It should be common sense tho...)

But, there are already a lot of instance he claim it's a "Big update", only to be somewhat laughable at best.
If anything, it indicates he's not being very honest, and it's a very bad thing for business build on "trust".
Not to mention it's very easy to not charge people for no update, if he so choose.
(I Kinda think people are getting used to be charge for 3 or 4 lines of update monthly already, so it's not looked as bad as it is)

And it's actually a very clear line if the dev is genuine.
Take LD for example, Even when Hyao struggled a lot, I don't think he ever said something that's away from truth just to make himself looks better.

Tho, at the end of the day, if he can finish OIHS, it doesn't matter anymore.
It's just I think most people are expecting it to be something better.

Exploring the Kennels (Stables is grouped under it; I'm not going to add any scenes to Stables, since there's too many areas already)
2 possible solutions to the puzzle here (1 has been implemented, 1 will be added in Build 0.26)
BARRACKS:

Exploring the Barracks
1 smut encounter (with an option to 'go further' if Player has the required Skill)
Another encounter here that will give Player the solution to 2 puzzles elsewhere (if you haven't solved them already)
MASTERS:

1 encounter with a smut and non-smut variation (when Time Left system is implemented, these 2 options will cost time differently)
Encounter in the Treasurer's bedchamber (if Player fails every check, they will be locked out of the room forever)
1 puzzle (with only 1 solution that the Player has to find elsewhere)

Here we are! We're almost at the end of the heist arc. At least this one didn't drag on for one year+ like the previous one... Um! Anyway, we're heading straight for the finishing line now. Future readers should be able to see a complete picture of the royal palace when they get their hands on OIHS, so that's nice. Now to figure out the time system...
