Not a big fan of the font. Does it even have lowercase or is that just the way the dev scripted it? Also white on transparent tan is too low a contrast for readability.

You can change the font inside menu, also all those nice people came with a solution for font issue. If you go back some pages you'll see it! I already made my mind and I'll change color next version and try to figure out a code that allows people to change font color by their own...

Extract the game files using unren and take the gui.rpy file and drop it into notepad. Unren can be found on the site.

Next do a search for define gui.text_color = '#ffffff' and change the ffffff to 050705 then go to file - save as - change save as type from txt document to all files and find gui.rpy select it and overwrite it. Restart game and text should be now black.

Here is a copy of the gui.rpy file just download it extract it and overwrite the old file once you have extracted the game files from the game.

The game starts out super promising... the renders are solid, and I was very relieved to see that not all the characters are of the thicc and overboobed sort (slave girl is my favourite)... at the start I just had one complaint:

The text, dear god. So you've got a tiny textbox that is maybe only 1/2 the width of the screen. So then you've had to make the text tiny to try to get it to fit in it. Not only that but it's not properly aligned in the box (the text starts too high), but even with that it still then pokes out the bottom a bit when there's a lot being said. Then, for some reason I can only presume was induced by madness, you've got white text on a light sandy coloured background... the whole point of a text box is to provide something that contrasts heavily against the text colour to make it easy to read. Admittedly I'm on a little laptop but this was such an eye strainer I was growing increasingly irate as I played and it doesn't do it justice because I actually wanted to read the history and learn about the war and stuff.

A small complaint in the story is, that I'm fooling around with my sister and have been for years, okay, I now hit the day when I've been granted fertility to restore the orc race... go see my sister... and she has be fuck her ass then cum on her feet or something... erm, we've had years for that, it should be exclusively creampies from now on.

But anyway, where the game falls apart for me is the janky sandbox it becomes which is such a disappointment... I go to kiss the slave girl and then I'm suddenly talking to some dream woman... I go see the elf and then after have a repeat of the sister anal/feet scene from day 1 which goes back into some dev note about pregnancy I've already seen 3 times... I know the book menus were listed as temporary but there's errors and all sorts of dead ends in there (thankfully you can roll back from it)... and the game just stops being that fun at this point... I hope it's heavily reworked... sometimes sandboxes can work but this one wasn't good and I just don't feel like persisting with it, I'll check back in with a later version and hope it's better.

TL;DR: Renders - great, story/first part - great, text/texbox - infuriating, sandbox - disappointing.

Selecting to give Kathiara food when you have none she'll say that you don't have any kind of water to give her instead of saying food. Not sure if it's the same for wood or not.

Hey, I would also that this opportunity to thank all the feedback I'm getting. Like, an Orc Trans Girl? I really thought people wouldn't actually play it. For people appointing issues, I know how to solve them, mostly, but I'll surely need some people to playtest before the next build. Aspects like battles and the general feeling of the game shall be redone and rethought. I'll do a huge improvement in the interface and interaction between characters.

I'll try to make things less grindy. As I said, this was my first production, so I'm kinda surprised with all the attention, and I didn't know if this was the right path to follow. Also, I'd need some massive proofreading, but as you can guess I don't have any money to pay for that.

If anyone is willing to help out, please say so, any help is more than welcome. I know that I'm a singular dev with a random game, but as a community of adult game fans, I know that with your help I can make things much better and produce great entertainment for everyone!

All in all, if you manage to play it, I'm really thankful and I'm glad that I could make someone happy with this project. So thank you all for being receptive to my ideas and pointing out what you'd like to see and what's wrong. You'll be seeing me again with a new version at end of February or the beginning of March. I'll keep you guys updated.

You are definitely on the right path here, I hope to see this project complete in a few years.

And if I could give you any advice it would be to not bite more than you can chew, I know you want to make this a giant game with super complex systems and whatnot, but you are only one person, working on your first project ever, learning things as you go. Keep it simple for the most part and progress as you get better and/or have help is the way to go imo.

yeah they really try. just look at this site. 80% of the ppl try to ban ntr from every game they come across. its a wonder that they didnt bring their forks and torches to this thread already.

iS nTr AvOidAbLe? I feel you. Well it happens I just dont care. Actually in my case it is avoidable and it will be avoidable but I see where you are coming from. This seem to be part of that cancelling culture that its out there. In my opinion, if people has a problem with game genre, they can avoid playing it at all, I mean, there is more than 200 pages of games here at f95, one should be nice enough for those fellas.

yup as a easy fix, rollback some messages, some nice folk said how to fix that quickly. Next version probably there'll be a code that allow you to choose the colour you like, or at least, I'll give some nice options of color.

Fair enough, I guess. I am just aware of, and have played, several other games on here with the "Harem" tag that also aren't at the Harem building stage yet.

I just went into GUI and replaced #ffffff with #000000 a few times. Took me some noodling to get the ones I wanted replaced and keep the whites against the black background showing, But if your background was just the plain background that usually is used on these sort of games, that'd resolve the problem.
