I like Robert as a character, he serves his purpose well, which is to be a loser with little redeeming qualities; unlike Stan, who is supposedly the loser that gets a glow up and gets the girl at the end. Robert is a god awful love interest, and I'm glad that recent Lena interactions with him has her monologue along the same lines, that he was never good and that she's been training him the entire game and he's still not really improving. It A) keeps Robert as a punching bag for all the other characters and B) could make for some interesting humiliation situations without having to sacrifice Ian.Eh, there's 3642 pages of 69, 232 posts. Have Lena cheat on Ian. Jeremy will tell Ian about it, and Ian will have talk with Lena during Ch.12. One of options how to handle this development is to open the relationship.

Depending on how open you want their relationship, there are two levels, the fully open one that you can get in ch 12 that ffive mentions, and the threesomes (with Lena recruiting) open relationship you can get in the park or a little later.
It's a relationship with a "license to fuck around" so to speak. So how much (or how little) of actual relationship you make it, it's ultimately up to your choices.

Isn't there a way to keep it open from the start, just fuck everybody from the start of the game, then when committing in the park agree to keep experimenting?
I remember something like that, but I just skimmed through text in that playthrough, so I don't remember clearly.

IIRC, if you decide to 'experiment together,' or however it's phrased, certain people will count as cheating, and others won't. And it's a blurry line. You might avoid that on the friends with benefits option, but I haven't tried that one.
We got Emma in her new outfit sooner than I was expecting, but I wonder if any other characters are going to have an appearance update soon. I still think this next chapter is probably going to be the final time we'll see updates to character sprites unless the game either goes all the way to 20 chapters or if EK wants to throw in another change in the epilogues.
I guess technically Cindy had another wardrobe change with Axel or meeting with Ian at the coffee shop. But we haven't seen a post glory hole Holly yet. I could see Ivy having a sprite change after Billy's event. I'd like to see Allison and Cherry both get new outfits. Unfortunately it seems like, outside of Ian, the guys aren't going to change clothes. It still seems too early for Stan to finish his glow up so it's looking like he'll be mostly left to an epilogue at this point.

The threesome talk comes up if
ian_emma_love variable is at 2, which requires Ian to "make love to Emma" at some point in Ch.12. So i don't think that's compatible with Lena/Ian in relationship. (not sure how such set of conditions could be arranged, tbh. But then my Ian is just friends with Emma) But it doesn't mean such threesome won't get brought up/arranged later in the game on the open relationship path.

Eva already confirmed there will be a threesome between Ian, Lena and Emma on the full open relationship path. When it's gonna get brought up between Ian and Lena is an entirely different matter.

I'm not sure if Lena would be up for a threesome with regular Holly (You can never tell with Lena when it comes to Holly). Slutty Holly maybe. But I suspect slutty Holly is bound to make her move on Ian once she finds out he is in an open relationship with Lena. It could even happen this coming mini-update.
