Like most of the game so far but a few things bothering me with the last update. Not a patron so you can ignore me whatever, just have to rant a bit. Spoilers BTW.
First: How come Sterling hasn't checked the Fucking vent and air conditioning in all the time since he's known Hunter has messed with it? He knows Hunter's M/O and he's usually one to double check anything Hunter has had his hands on, but somehow the air conditioning completely slips his mind. Every time I saw the "PSHHHHHH" of the vent effect, used so many times in CH10, I was really hoping he'd notice something wrong about them. By the last few times it's used I was just rolling my eyes and thinking "Really? Again? Come on". Any and all progress in the last update is because of these vents. Sterling didn't step up his game or anything, anytime the vents went off everyone just lost all inhibitions and Sexual Preferences it looked like, and went crazy. I know its drugged air but still, it was way too quick a switch from girls sure of their Heterosexuality and then turning Bi out of nowhere.
Second: Catherine essentially raping Brenna. Usually I wouldn't think twice since its a porn game, but since Brenna was on Sterlings ass about consent and being a good guy before doing normal sex with him, then having Catherine, who I sorta liked at the start but has been becoming more and more obnoxious and annoying as time goes on, essentially raping Brenna cause of the drug air and Brenna not immediatly kicking Cath in the teeth for not listening to her saying no, but in fact no repurcussions to Cath at all is complete bullshit. Sterling just had to sit through and become Ophelia's slave because of the consent issues he was having, but Cath gets off scot free because thats "How she is" is utter crap. Either have the characters react the same to similar situations and keep them together as a character or don't and make all that journey for Sterling to learn consent completely superfluous.
Last: Look, I don't hate the game. It's mostly been enjoyable. I just find it frustrating that characters are acting against what they have shown us so far. I'll continue playing it cause it's fun and in the hopes that in the next update these issues will be addressed in the story. Maybe Sterling will investigate the vents. Maybe Catherine will finally get some fucking commupence. Don't know. Just looking forward to the next chapter in however many months time and continuing the story.
