So I got into an encounter with a dog, and I cannot escape it no matter what I do. Is it possible to get out of a fight without going for the kill?
I am guessing that you click the escape button, but they keep grabbing you and you can't get away. Keep trying to escape, it should eventually let you run away, but you may need to be persistent about it.

Picking up the Swift trait and upgrading it once or twice can help as well.
If you still can't get away put some dick into them (or ride theirs a few times) and then try getting away. Sometimes they just need a little loving and they they will let you get away.

If all else fails, go to the main game menu, click on options, then enter the cheat code for v0.06 PRETTYGATE (in all caps) into the cheat input window. When you resume the game, there should be a new button on the bottom left that will let you move to a new encounter, no matter what you are currently doing and you can try escaping again.

I hope there's an option to be a species other than chimera. I hate imagining myself to be a long, scaly thing while I cork dommy werewolf pussy.

When you create a character it let's you pick a placeholder image for your character. You don't have to imagine yourself being a scaly chimera when you can literally pick what you want to be.

I don't think he is not referring to the RGB image you can select, which shows up on your character page. It doesn't matter what color you pick, your species is always Chimera.

I am pretty sure that what he is referring to is the option to be able to be a Lanky Raven, a powerful horse boy/girl, or a smol squirrel, instead of chimera.

Well a chimera is just a creature that is supernaturally composed of multiple animal parts (and certainly not specific to something scaly). So for my mental imagery for this game, I just think of hybrids of humans and other animals. So wolf boys and cat girls, for common examples. But it's flexible enough that whatever floats your boat should work.

So... it seems like this game is being worked on just.... very extremely slowly?
It's lithier.
I remember playing MVOL on a then modern Windows XP computer, and I was looking forward to it having "more collars" back then, which means the game was about 40% done at the time . The dude is not really fast, but he does deliver, I would be afraid to go on monthly subscription with him though.

Is there a way to discourage sexual competitors to a point that they exit a sex scene via dominance/threat rather than having to kill them? I'd find it much more entertaining if a show of dominance has them running away unsatisfied with their tail between their legs.

It feels a bit early to review this one, but I will mention some initial thoughts that I had.

It surprised me to go three hours in a furry game without having run into Bojack Horseman from that famous 90's TV show, Horsin' Around. I wouldn't call it a pleasant surprise -- while horses in furry porn is a massive cliche, they also tick a lot of boxes for people who are into this stuff, especially for size conscientious fappers. I also don't recall any lions or tigers, although I did run into a sex crazed bear with a 9-inch penis. That was honestly a pleasant surprise, considering the five or six female wolves or otters I kept running into beforehand.

Actually, while I'm thinking about it, my experience playing showed an overall preponderance of female furry NPCs, despite having set the options up for both male and females to show up. Are the majority of the penises hiding in the intersex group? I only chose not to turn it on to keep my poor dick from feeling confused, but maybe I should explore the game with them included.

It's a nice system that's been cooked up under the hood of this game. I think the UI could do with some better graphical design to spruce it up, and there could be slightly more variety in the text outputs. The primary gameplay/combat loop seems fine, although it does take a long time to get done with any interaction. Maybe the number of necessary moves could be reduced? It might also increase the tension, because I felt literally zero. Towering gorillas and ravenous werewolves may as well have been newborn kittens for how easily I could do awful things to them from the word "go".

I also agree with other reviews noting the lack of a proper purpose for progression or goal setting for players after the novelty wears off -- perhaps gating certain fetishes or NPCs behind interactions might give players something to work towards. Maybe the ability to utilize vored enemies for skills or body modifications, or to unlock access to other fetishes like estrus musk or bondage techniques, can be a progression perk.

All in all, not bad as a draft, and certainly a good start. I'll keep an eye on this.

The intersex characters are pretty rare in the game and there are both masculine and feminine intersex characters. So, you could run into a 'dude' wolf, with a dick and a vagina or you could run into a 'chick' wolf, with tits, a dick, and a vagina.
If you are horrified at the thought of encountering a chick with a dick, leave it turned off, you aren't missing out on content.

I have run into what you are describing now and then. I would end up running into a group of 2,3, or 4 females and not one male around and I have run into the opposite as well, 2-4 dudes humping and bumping each other. It's just one of those things that happens.
The game doesn't really care if an NPC is male, female, intersex, attack helicopter, or ... other. When NPCs meet, as long as there is an orifice/extrusion to interact with, NPCs will be down to play with it.

The weirdest thing I have seen in the game are characters that are exhausted and starving, neither one willing to stop fucking to go rest or eat AND 9' titans that want nothing more than to crawl inside the dick of a 3' tall mouse.

Saves were recently introduced so it's not terribly difficult to have a Save Editor site pick it apart and change some key values before reloading it. Note that it's still a very basic save system, only preserving the player and nothing else.

On that comment about limited reaction text, if you keep up on the latest developer notes the matrix of flavor text is being overhauled for an increased variety and hopefully better modularity (make it easier to add a new NPC class and/or interactive limb such as a tail). Lither also touched on the AI again, talking about neurons and stuff. I never coded AI anything so details about learning models and such go *whoosh*, right over this smooth brain...

New news post on version .07
The "flavor text update"?
It describes how the parser has to be vague enough so it makes sense to read when you're also looking at the stats of everyone involved. The new parsing code has a lot more articulation allowing for more nuanced flavor text, although it's a slippery slope since you can get carried away with it and keep getting more and more specific to the point no one will ever see the stuff you're writing (a bit like easter eggs in certain unnamed games that take 10 years to discover).
[From the news post: lithier.com/w/2024/03/dev-journal-juicy-options/]
"Of course, it’s still true that every description needs to match its situation, and I still need to try and make them as vague as I can to make sure players will actually see the line while they’re playing. If I describe an orgasm in such a way it only makes sense if you’re having sex with two werewolves a specific way, while also fighting them, and you have a certain trait and a dragon is watching, then sure, it’ll blow you away if you see that line… but almost nobody will actually get to see it. It’s a balancing act between making it compelling and making it a wide match."
[]
He goes on to lament that the AI is still original (read: janky) and hopes version .08 will have the beginnings of the newer AI he's been poking at.

It is nice to hear that they are close to kicking out another version of the game. It sounds like there won't be any 'new stuff' to play with, just the same ole go find something to fuck and grind essences to buy powerups, but with new and improved text to describe what is happening.

I am kind of hoping there will be something new to do in this version, I have had lots of fun playing this game, it just doesn't sound like there will be much visible change.

With save files now a thing you can load them into saveeditonline and change stuff. Nothing is labeled of course so some experimentation is required. I did find it interesting that measurements are in cm internally but converted to ft/in when written out. Something to keep in mind if you adjust your size from the save file, it will also change your hunger status upon loading-- getting taller without adding mass means you thin out and starve, and shrinking without removing mass makes you fat and burdened.

That metric to imperial conversion thing does explain something I keep seeing in the game, that I thought was funny as hell.

So, being one of those Americans educated in that horrible Imperial Measurement system, I would regularly run across characters that were 5'12" tall, in the game, and it was fucking hysterical. Metric and Imperial do not have nice, neat, conversions, so seeing that makes sense, but damn is it funny.

For anyone that is not up to speed on imperial measurements, 12 inches equals 1 foot, so the character in question was actually 6 ft tall but the game wrote it out as 5 feet 12 inches tall.
It is akin to stating that someone is 1 meter 100 centimeters tall, instead of saying they are 2 meters.
