the story is the same, and it not stops at mission 34 but continue progressing but you'll play from the prospective of that said empire prince. chronogically, the mission 34 takes place if i am not mistaken in the mid of the events of the mission 31 and forward from there to the chapter 48

Taking into account the lack of content and the twist at the end, the first part is rather just a prologue necessary for understanding the history and the world, and the main part begins in the second.

a very long prologue tho, almost like the real main part with twisted end
looking at the tag, i think i know what happen in the twisted end

but well, really good strategy game for low end PC for the part 1 that is, for part 2, im gonna skip it
very simple and preferential reason, i think the part 1 story is pretty solid for me and corruption just going to ruin it, so gonna skip part 2

it feels like playing agarest:generation of war with corruption end, hahaha

its preferential reason so dont judge me too much, lol

I completely understand your feelings, also at the beginning there was a feeling that this was the beginning of this kind of a harem game, which turned out to be wrong, or at least not what you expected (this will be a harem game only in a slightly different way), and in this case I am glad that bumped into a spoiler. For the first part, you seem to get a little attached to the main character, and as a result, not everyone may like this plot twist.
As for me, it would be better if it happened early (Last Sovereign) or somehow it was made clear in the preview or in the game, but the author is not me and this is his story and he knows better how he wants to present it.

maybe, but at the same time I don't think anyone has tried this kind of story telling. at least anyone I know. but it's not so bad in the end. When I imagine not playing part 1. It will feel generic and maybe boring at times. but because of part 1. we "hope" and be excited instead of assume things that part 2 has (not to mention corruption has never more been satisfying especially since you know the whole story on both sides). on the "Villain-Protagonist" and the "Hero-Antagonist". we can love their parts and not only one of them.

hmmm, more like since the MC part 1 is like super serious and straight person with no room for infidelity, once the story said he has fiancee, i expected like vanilla thing or competitor over him which will be rejected firmly eventually, i expect only like 10-20% chance the story will lead to harem with his fiancee permission (i mostly encounter game like this when the male MC has this kind of personality)

for MC in the story.... hmmm, i tolerate well for multiple male MC, problem is the 2nd part male MC story in first part is too short and didnt give me impact about what kind of person he is, so when he came and as the spoiler said, "corrupt" it feels really bad for my taste, at least give some story impact for the 2nd male protagonist is what i want to say

corruption itself is okay for me actually and its in my borderline of like and dislike, if u give me 2 choice only whether i like or dislike, i say dislike, but i can tolerate better than NTR, only because the reason of not enough story impact of 2nd MC that make me dislike to play the 2nd part

1st part is great btw, the turn based strategy is great, and i see lot of comment talk about the strategy battle rather than the eroge one

In my opinion, I say both parts are great. besides, the game itself is hardly finished. we can judge the game on the Part 2 MC alone. and if the people really known the plots in part 1. many more will look forward to part 2 more, regardless on the part 2 MC's profile. but to the whole game itself. in my opinion. the REALL problem here is that 33 Chapters w/ no H-scenes is excruciating if anything else. (let's be honest, if we want a good RPG ALONE, we can find it elsewhere, but we came here looking for something else...) that's why people tend to skip it too part 2 and complain about the game afterwards for being too "simple".

and netotari, sure I'm hardly a fan myself but netori? Kukuku. ("You" playing as the stealing villain). well...:devilish: and in the end, it's fantasy. as long as we fans can unleased our dark fantasies in games, manga, Etc. but not in real life. it's all fine. that's why we have these genre's in the first place (unless if a said person is a total evil nutjob in real life too, then no).

If the game provides for several protagonists and at the same time they are at war with each other, and you control them personally, it knocks me out of the immersion. In strategy games, you basically play one side to the end, and there were games in which you play one character in 1 part, and play his enemy in the second, but personally I never liked that. A little story about the hero's enemy and his ascent or minor characters is OK. I still remember Prototype 2 when Mercer was made an enemy and given another character. I will gladly play as an evil character, I just do not like it when the second character you personally destroy your first character and his squad. Imagine, for example, that in Mass Effect 2 you were given another character with the task of destroying Shepard or in Dragon Age 2 by destroying the hero's squad from dragon age, of course you could come up with a justification for this and an example not quite suitable, but in this game there are a lot of dialogues for strategy and initially the game is focused on 1 character, and it promotes immersion in the game and the character, and when suddenly there is a character change and a side change it all falls apart.
Everyone plays games as they like, personally it knocks me out of the immersion, other players may not pay attention to it.
I just decided that part 1 is the prologue and who is the main character and that's it. :)

I stand on similar grounds but it annoyed the living hell out of me to see the girls physically changing through the corruption. They were nice and had variety, why turn them all into all the same shit?

well this is dev. we're talking about. and it's rare to find a game where you get to play as a "Real-Evil-Villian" w/ no bylaws or morals pinning you down. (TDLR and Divinion was fine. but comparing the MC there and part 2 MC here, well damn... and comparing this to that, I'll prefer this since the gender bender thing turned me off to the point I had doubts playing TDLR and divinion (not too mention the 3D art). good thing I stick to it in the end, I won't find this Gold if I did.

Though this villain isn't exactly evil from what I've seen, a hedonistic who entirely lacks morals? Yes. But not evil. Also, kinda of a dumbass even though the game claims he's a smartass.

so yeah dev, i like your strategy RPG, its rare nowdays to have good SRPG that work in low end PC (4 GB RAM with shared VRAM and intel graphic card) but sorry i dont like the corruption idea in part 2 after solid story in part 1, so im gonna skip part 2
if you do vanilla part, most appreciate

for corruption, i prefer eternal torment or poor boy's older girl hypnosis plan.

I mean having played all of part one and some of part two I must say that the story twist did sap most of my motivation to play. I have just been half heartedly chipping away at it now. It is undeniable that the part one story was not a particularly original one but it did provide a fairly consistent effort at worldbuilding and making us care about the characters and there goals.

The fact that moving on to part two we not only play someone else with goals entirely in opposition to our prior protagonists but then set about undoing everything we have achieved is a bit of a gut punch. Our new protagonist being 'evil' is something that I do not particularly object to but what I do object to is how as a villain he is completely uncharismatic and basically fits every stereotype of the "fat, ugly guy can't get women so uses mind control" trope. Villains as protagonists always work best in my eyes when they inspire some desire for them to prosper in the viewer, in the case of the new protagonist I genuinely would not care if he died the chapter after he was introduced, his character archetype is over explored in power fantasy works and so is uninteresting and he is not likable or funny so I would not want him to do well for those reasons. This complete absence of redeeming qualities means I find having to listen to the protagonist talk for extended times to be tiresome which is never a good sign for a work of fiction.

So in the absence of the above reasons the main reason to proceed to part two would of course be the porn. The porn in the game is decent but uninspired but is dragged down heavily by the scenes focusing on characters who have undergone the 'corruption' scenes. These 'corruption' scenes are pretty cookie cutter and uninspired; character starts out resistant, gets drugged into suggestibility, get subjected to a bunch of leading questions and child level psycho-analysis to get them to change there core principles and beliefs (and at one point even re-writing a characters sexuality) and then they pop out fully devoted slaves. This incredibly simplistic version of corruption saps any and all joy from the process as it is more akin the character murder than corruption as there is barely any sign of the original personality at all as they all just become generic devoted slaves. The physical changes corruption brings while making sense on a story level as our protagonist obviously has a type does risk alienating chunks of the audience as you actively remove variety from the cast by making the physical features more similar. If you want to see examples of corruption done well I would recommend looking at Corrupted Saviours as that game demonstrates how to make the downfall of a character satisfying to witness as there personalities warp and change in believable manners as a result of experiences they are subject to while still visibly being the same people they once were just warped and twisted. The sex scenes themselves in the game are okay but with the protagonist and the characters he fucks all being subject to the problems above it is difficult to enjoy them as much as I would have otherwise.

The strategy gameplay on the other hand is still up to standard and is very enjoyable but now I feel as though the story and supports are detracting from my enjoyment of it rather than complimenting it. It still represents a decent example of a fire emblem based game but I could only recommend the actual story in the first part.

In short the game is a good example of how porn games can have good gameplay but I feel it has completely botched the implementation of the porn part with a new unlikeable protagonist and weak and uninteresting corruption scenes all paired with being told after hours of gameplay to turn around and help tear down what you had been trying to build throughout the first part.

A "Villain" I loved was Fontana from Sunrider, he is very similar to that prince who took Mercia but doesn't get killed in the first half of the game and ends up overthrowing the government once seeing how deep the corruption goes.

In short:
The first part is a good strategy game and is a good game if standalone, albeit has no porn in it.
The second part is a trash can filled with rotting fruits, under the summer heat, and was set on fire.
