Can we use the 5.8 art in the 6.x version?

Someone linked a pictures folder a few pages back that you could place in the game folder and overwrite the new pictures. I'm not sure if they did it manually or it was left that way by the devs for coding reasons, but the original images and AI images used the same file names.

As for whether or not it works; the AI art is upscaled so the old pictures don't fit the screen completely. They did still work though.

thought it was part of the broken ass brothel stuff, because she has dialogue line about a minotaur. eventually I bit the bullet and became a patron for a working discord link then checked past messages using the search function. dev stated that this isn't actually a scene in the game, it was part of a test feature for gold that they never added.

So, expressionless faces, glint over all textures, eyes pointing in different directions, anatomical mistakes, miscoloring, cumstains before ejaculation and other issues that plague almost every AI image in game - all of that is way better.

Are we really dropping standards of quality so low?

You see, at this point its not a question of preference - almost all AI images have a lot of glaring issues. Its objective, not subjective. Are you really sure you want to be apologetic to something that is objectively bad?

I once tried to jack-off to a statue, vaguely shaped as a silhouette of curvaceous woman.

It did not work. For the same reason AI rarely work for me - no expression. Heck, that statue was really vaguely shaped, so her face was blank surface of porcelaine.

Curves - they don't do it. Emotions do.

Alright, for those who prefer the old art, but still want to play the new stuff.

. Just extract this pictures folder as "pictures" and put the folder in 'Roundscape Adorevia [6.1]\www\img'.

The images are off centre since the devs upscaled the images when doing the AI version of them. So yeah, if you're fine with that, then cool this should work. Basically the images will now look like this:

If anyone want's to go through all the images and upscale them so they will be centered properly, by all means. I'm not doing it since there's 2GB of images to alter and compare to the AI scale. I'll happily live with this.

seems odd theyd make the art but then not add it to the game. i mean they've already done the hard bit.

For those interested the dev just posted a new roadmap. They plan to release 6.3 later this month which has already been mentioned here that it will focus on fixing the gallery and quest logs with other bug fixes. They'll also be working on a patch for arenus. following that is a comic and beginning work on their new project that will be a fantasy rpg set in the same world as adorevia. later this year or early next year they plan to release banished which was described as a short, story focused game. banished should be released completed and the new long term project set in adorevia will release in early development and worked on over the years.
Honestly despite the many, many flaws that popped up over the years in roundscape, it was a fun rpg game with a lot of kinks and fetishes that made it a unique experience even if there were a lot of issues that made me occasionally give up on it before coming back much later. I was sad to hear the game was done but I am looking forward to the next big project. I kind of hope they'll give up on the AI art, not a big fan of it in general and prefer the previous style, but I'll probably still try it out regardless and it's not like I have too strong of an opinion on it.

I hope they keep working with Furanh like they did with the last updates and the prequel, i liked his work on this game and i think it fits pretty well.
The days before the release of the golden update the devs were ranting at RPG Maker on Twitter X so i guess they're moving to something like Unity or Maybe RPG Maker Unite which is based in Unity but is a familliar

I am surprised Arenus is done. Content wise it feels unfinished.
Hopeful about Roundscape sequel. Would be great to see some older characters from below sunshade. We will probably see it next year, if we're lucky. Arenus was delayed for like 5 years..
