Is this a kinetic novel?
I haven't got all the way through it but I can't remember choosing anything other than the MC name so far ...

It's a kinetic novel with "Major Choices" along the way that result in impactful differences in your game. Right now there are three Major Choices, in the next update there will be another 3. Aside from that, there's a laptop chat element to the game that allows for Minor choices that can result in lewd pictures, different conversations, and various other random, minor differences.

Still, I don't want to misrepresent the game — Stranded in Space is mostly a kinetic novel.

welp good thing I read the discussion before trying this game. From the dev's note you portrayed as if the player's in control of the story but turned out you can't even choose which LI to interact or not since even you skip the scene it'll happen anyway. So yeah even though you can choose the "major choices" but I think please at least put on the kinetic novel tag so you won't get anymore complain in the future.

But good luck with the game though, seems really interesting but kinetic novel isn't really for me.

Nice story (not entirely new but the humor is amazing), good looking girls (for the most part), and being given some meaningful options (which girl to defrost) is nice. That being said, could you provide an option to NOT engage in the act with specific girls? Maybe the player doesn't like a specific girl or the act they will go and do so the option to decline would be nice.

Other than that, I really like this game and wish for your success.

That was a pretty solid update. A hell of a lot packed into 3 days, writing was great and some of the buildup of these scenes were really hot. Personal favourites are the back and forths with Camila and Ishani (and Skylar to an extent), since their initial standoffishness makes the progress in their relationship stand out more.

Only peeves I have are:
- Throwing up a pop quiz about a conversation in the previous update (Gigi's Galaxy Girl question), which could've been played as many as 4 months ago, is effectively just a 50/50 which you have to reload if you get it wrong. Considering the episodic format and the amount of information related to the player, I think it would be more intuitive if the game asked questions about things learned in the current update. Otherwise, unless the player has photographic long-term memory, feels more like random chance than a reward for being attentive.

- The writing's undeniably really sharp, but sometimes it can feel like it's circling around a little too much before moving on to the next point of conversation. A bit like a guitar solo that goes on too long. Sometimes even great players can follow the 'less is more' mantra to keep things crisp, and not get too self-indulgent just because they have the chops for it.

- Something about Nemy's model bugs me. Most likely the ashy desaturated skin tone combined with the straight dark red hair makes her seem like the result of using the 'randomize' feature in a character creator. Shame, since the buildup to her story is handled really well, and I quite the look of every single other character in the game. Might just be a me thing, though.

I agree that the humour is great. The only problem with it is that it's the same for almost every character. Like for example the only difference between Umiko and Sasha is that Umiko does sciene supposedly and Sasha does whatever she does. Even Skylar has the same humour the few times she tries to be funny.

Maybe, but how many of the muff eaters will MC have to compete against? Considering how Sasha and the crazy bi scientist still haven't fucked MC, while they work on corrupting his love interests for them selves. Starting to think there is more than one villain is in this story, working in the background.

What you have with Umiko are pure sexual kinds of puns and jokes & with Sasha it's more kind of partner in crime kind of jokes where it goes from goofy stuff like "yatch club is here" to sexual stuff like "using Ishani body as yatch & with Skylar is nerd kind of joke. Although I won't deny an overlap between them. But hey, who cares as long they are funny.

Getting an error unpacking. Error is for d9_images.rpa

Can we have just that file please? I've downloaded all these gigs twice now trying to fix it.. each time it's that one file and I've tried Mega and Mixdrop I think it was, and that's killing my data cap allowance. Thankfully in the future soon, my fiber optic ISP should have me hooked up and running and they don't have data caps!
