There's the rework too. This game isn't finished and as long as that is the case it's called "work in progress". If you can develop things faster just do it. There're never enough AVN's out there. Sure, there's way too much trash, but this one here isn't.It's just too long of waiting for 2 new scenes![]()
Well, reading this thread is really strange. I played until the end and got exactly zero sex scenes. Still enjoyed the story.
And here we are, people talking about all the lewd scenes in the game. Looks like playing as a normal person don't pay off.
I know than games like that is for you to be as bad/perv as you desire, but still looks like a bad game designer choice in my opnion.
PS: I could not enable the foot massage option in the beggining. Even Sancho's Mod can't show what is the requirement for that.
Don't forget lot's of peeking in the shower. And installing hidden camera's everywhere.Dude never interacts with anyone, stays home, stays alone and then complains why he's a virgin....It's a ffking porn game, you act too nice, you don't get the psy.. Just like irl.. And When i mean nice, i mean nice like how you would behave with your mom or family member.. basically showing 0 interest or working for it...idk...
Given you have to actually work very, very, very hard to avoid Cassie, and given there are three LI's...Well, reading this thread is really strange. I played until the end and got exactly zero sex scenes. Still enjoyed the story.

Not really, if you do/play basically the moronic hero, aka "the good guy" you will get zero sex scenes, because before the lighthouse and I used a mod (Sancho) I did the good guy route and got none.Given you have to actually work very, very, very hard to avoid Cassie, and given there are three LI's...
I'm actually amazed (and impressed) you avoided all of them by chance (which, I actually fail to comprehand or believe as, as I said, one of them you really do have to actively avoid).
Good job![]()
Where link?So, pals,
I DID PROMISE A WALKTHROUGH... and now... here you are!! Summer Scent 0.55 walkthrough guide.
50 pages, 15 full paths... it took me a whole week. So enjoy and please don't complain if you run into a few typos.
I just want to add this:
the more paths you play, the more you enjoy the story.
-------------
EDIT: since the Author reworked some scenes in the early days, my walkthrough is OUTDATED and some routes ARE WRONG. I'm working on it, guys. Just wait for a few days.
------------
I just did it! UPDATED TO 0.63 now!!!
enjoy!
Where read ability?Where link?

He wroteWhere read ability?
And realized after that he had to rework it because of the changes in the game.He wrote
"I just did it! UPDATED TO 0.63 now!!!

He needs to cut down the branching story at this point if he’s burning out quickly from porn dev and inflation.Dev Update #232
An hour ago
I'm still working on the second segment of scene 27. I've reached shot #76, and with it a more challenging set of images to create. I had to rework an environment for that purpose and it was a bit more challenging than I expected. I'm still not sure I can 100% concretise what I have in mind with that particular set, and I won't know for sure until I've rendered it. Fingers crossed that's not a waste of time.
I feel like I need to clarify how I number my images. Because shot #76 isn't actually the 76th shot in the scene but rather the 95th. Here is why: When I cut the scene for the first time, I planned 238 images. Among these images, there are "pseudo animations", like eyes blinking, characters walking in circles, or fingers sliding on on smartphone screen.
These are actually several images I will combine into one. and Do not count them in the image total. On top of that, as I pose the scene, I reread it and often add unplanned images when I feel like the script needs it. Shot #238 still marks the end of the posing, but there are more than 238 images.
And now on to some more serious talk.
I've been asked why I am so slow. I think We need to talk about this.
I am slow. That's a fact and there are several reasons for that.
The usual excuses first.
Attention to detail, and complexity of the story tree, all this is true, but there is obviously something else. I encountered a lot of problems with that update, more than on any other. That too is true. but there again, there is something else.
To the real issues now.
Firstly: I had to find another job. With the inflation and especially the rising prices of energy, the game by itself doesn't provide me enough to live anymore. To be able to pay my bills, I've been taking some consulting jobs on the side for about a year now and that's time I don't spend working on the game. I just don't have a choice.
Secondly: When I was working on day 5, I was working something like 12 to 16 hours a day, 6 or even 7 days by week. I survived, but it made me miserable. And Covid didn't help. I won't say I burned out because I'm not, or at least not yet (And that's something we want to avoid, right?). But there is an undeniable fatigue. And I haven't rested since then. Actually, I haven't really rested since I started working on Summer Scent, back in 2019. And that's taking its toll. To the point that I actually think about taking some real vacation this year and completely disconnecting for a week. No worries. I'm not going to stop working on the game, I'm more motivated to finish it than ever. I'm just tired and I need to take a short breather. I'll do that once done with that update. and hopefully, I'll come back more efficient.
The quick sum up :
You can follow my progress on
- Day 6 Part 4 will contain 2 new scenes: scenes 26 and 27.
- Day 6 Part 4 will contain 2 reworked scenes from Day 2, Scenes 1 and 10.
- Day 2, Scene 1 and 10 have been rewritten, posed and rendered.
- Day 6, Scene 26 has been written, posed and rendered. Scene 27 is written and cut for posing.
- 9549 words of reworked content, and 12 430 words of new content so far.
- 2007 lines of code so far.
- 704 shots are planned, 542 are posed, and 526 are rendered.

I mean .. considering how slow he is, he should just take a vacation and get some rest, its not like it makes a huge difference at this point if hes able to produce 400 renders in 12 or 14 months, both is like super super slow.He needs to cut down the branching story at this point if he’s burning out quickly from porn dev and inflation.
What would be normal in this period if you render after real work (~20h/week)?its not like it makes a huge difference at this point if hes able to produce 400 renders in 12 or 14 months, both is like super super slow.
I mean it kinda depends on the devs support and therefore rig(s) hes able to use but imo as a general estimate i would say 3500-6000 renders/year or 300-500 renders/month + animations are reasonable to good, thats probably hard to achieve with 20h weeks tho. What would be normal in this period if you render after real work (~20h/week)?
Transparency. I want my supporters to know where my time is going.Dont get me wrong, i dont mind a dev intending to earn money, im just confused about putting it in the changelog like if anybody would be happy about that or is it for transparencys sake?
Because a game is just about rendering, right ?Maybe work on the game more regularly/longer? I mean he has literally rendered ONE SINGLE RENDER IN THE PAST MONTH. I'm not even kidding, look at his post on December 9 and the one yesterday.
1600 ! Lol.You don't get to talk for all Patreons, either. You're just one of his 1600 patrons.
Yes. With 40 000 more words of content.Holly crap, I remember playing this like a year ago and it was day six in game time, it's still on day six![]()
I'm increasingly considering it.If MC stacks up, fucks, and triple creampies Eve, Cassie, and Kelly on the diner counter, then yes absolutely worth the effort to create the scene environment!
I'd say yes.To the question if it is worth the time consumed? It depends, is it a one-time use scenario? how many characters will be there? will there be background characters? and more importantly, does all the construction give more sense to the story?
I still do. However, the overall toxicity pushes me to reconsider it regularly.I know, I was much more active here before, and I was a patreon too. And at least before the captain read everything, I don't know how it is now.
I'm sorry. i'll just have to laugh at these numbers.I mean it kinda depends on the devs support and therefore rig(s) hes able to use but imo as a general estimate i would say 3500-6000 renders/year or 300-500 renders/month + animations are reasonable to good, thats probably hard to achieve with 20h weeks tho.
400 renders + 0 animations a year sound like the dev burned out on the project or it was the worst year ever with complications over complications
I dont really want to argue with you, i dont get why you think these numbers are laughable but you're indeed right, i have no in detail idea of the procces and am baseing my numbers on other devs (who are still accused of being too slow/milking/whatever by many lmao).I'm sorry. i'll just have to laugh at these numbers.
I really wish it was this easy. But it isn't. Even if I was still full time on the game I wouldn't be able to do more than 200 renders a month. I think you have no idea how much time it takes to properly build a set, pose a figure and craft an expression. Some other devs are way faster than me however, that is true. Maybe we're not working the same way.
Most of those are not solo dev's either, the single dev's are pushing out shit that's 5 minutes long and 20 rendersI dont really want to argue with you, i dont get why you think these numbers are laughable but you're indeed right, i have no in detail idea of the procces and am baseing my numbers on other devs (who are still accused of being too slow/milking/whatever by many lmao).
My take is that fast(er) devs are rendering and setting up scenes/writing at the same time which sounds more like a matter of organisation and availabe workstation(s) but whatever its your game and you should do it at the pace you see fit and with the goals your setting. I only posted the numbers because i was asked and made it dependent on the support a dev receives.
