Since you are the only one getting it, it's a system issue not a game issue. Based on your limited description, I'd guess (and this is only a guess) it is related to your choice of anti-virus.
The story needs a lot of improvement or a better story, definitely needs a remake.

The dev is creating 2 separate games concurrently in order to reduce burnout: Superpowered and Loser. Each gets 2 months of dev time then he switches to the other. Loser dev started early July so its new public version should drop early Sep. Preview versions featuring new game play go out before public releases.
Those quests are terrible to follow.

I have played this about a year ago and now have a problem (started a new game) that I cannot see the love stats of the girls anymore, I thought it was on the phone as the other stats but isn't. Unfortunately my search fu has failed me since love, stat, and phone turn up many unrelated posts.
