Your 04091 save only shows 3% complete. Is it the wrong save, or just a screwy release of the game?
i've trying to update both i would recommend get the fullgame newest version since file corrupted in update version only causing issue to me like first new scene is just black scene for the most of whole scene then i redownload full version then overwrite seem fine for me now

Latest version of SotS doesn't run for me under Linux as before, after copy NWjs into Windows folder and run nw removing all DLLs and Game.exe if succeed. Problem with saves being recognised. Hopefully NLT Media genuine Linux version will work when updated always.

For some reason I uploaded the wrong save. I updated it, now it should be 4%. Thank you for pointing that out!

Exactly what was said just above: the source files used for the update only are buggy and there is no point making a buggy update only. The uploader is mindful and provided a compressed version for convenience.
We also have saves to get you up to speed.
This game is still evolving and events get added on top of others. Buggy files are not worth the hustle.
Just get the compressed version and go game!
