They won't go back. As far I know, RPGmaker has become unable to handle their content and RPGMakerMV is a hassle and kinda outdated, too.
Thankfully, they did way better with unity this time than with Samurai Vandalism. I think there's no going back and we'll be seeing more and more use of Unity. Hopefully, as new games pop-up, so will tools to translate them.
What content was RPGMaker unable to handle?

I may be ignorant because I havent played the witch game yet but from what I could see its typical RPG stuff like we have in any other HRPG as well and OneOne1 does not invent a new wheel with its gameplay so lets be honest that does not warrant use of unity.
Ever since Ideology of Friction or even before that OneOne1 has not deviated that much in terms of gameplay and presentation anymore.
The aforementioned game was pretty good and had a enjoyable story and that was made in RPGMaker.

Ironically they are using RPGMaker assets in their unity game. If they want to be fancy then why not do everything from scratch?

Also I beg to differ that RPGMaker is outdated. Look at all the games that come out in that engine and what can be achieved.
I played the best HRPGs on RPGMaker.
With maker MV we have an awesome and powerful tool right now and the community has itself attuned to it.

For me personally having to use Unity in any form is just not a good time and why the step has been made is beyond me.
It feels clunky and unintuitive in H-Games and look shit in most indie games.

Any bonuses for staying a virgin? Cuz I played through to the end boss and it's just a happy ending. Where the dedicated love interest who doesn't appear for most of the game?

Here is the explanation as best as I can do, the first part is for XUAT + SugoiOffline, the second part will be for adding CUDA support.
If it's not too much of a trouble to do, then it'd be nice to have this little guide to go a step or two back at the beginning and/or a bit more in-depth elsewhere for those who may acquire the JP version of the game elsewhere and don't bother with the already pre-patched rendition of it provided here, since knowing how to do the same process yourself for any other Unity titles like this would be pretty useful i think.
Personally after some fruitless tinkering i had to check how the OP post version looked like, and going off of the guide and some github instructions i just can't manage to make mine look the same. Namely the issue is that my BepInEx "config" folder would only have "BepInEx.cfg" file and nothing else and there's no way for me to know what step(s) i'm missing to have all the side stuff to install/copy properly and how crucial is the stuff that i miss, because there was also a config file from the Rei Patcher thing with all the same options on the inside seemingly, but after putting everything as you listed i just don't have anything translated whatsoever when launching the game.
I'll gladly admit to being a clueless individual if it'd mean a potential creation of a universal unity translation guide for titles like this.
Edit: I definitely am missing something from the already existing portion of the guide too, since i have no clue where the "ServerPort" even comes from in the and i doubt being well rested would've made it any more clear to me o_O

You could check my mini-guide for samurai vandalism here, tho it is not as detailed as Krumpligazda's. Server port can be found when you launch sugoi translator. 1685632878800.png
If you are staring from japanese version, you first have to download (file named ), unarchive it and then run SetupReiPatcherAndAutoTranslator.exe in the game's folder.
Edit: If you are following Krumpligazda's guide, getting the version would be better. But considering that you have a ReiPatcher folder, you probably just have a different version of AutoTranslator. Reinstalling game from scratch and the applying the translator would be best.

You have to run the game with BepInEx and Xuat installed for Xuat to make the config file, getting to that point, I have no clue how TBH.

for the question on the "ServerPort", if you test the "server" for the Sugoi Offline AI model, you can look in the CMD running and see it says a port number, that's the number that I noted down, at least in my case using the version of the stuff I am using (the latest as of 5/31/23).

I can't really make a guide like you are asking for though, as I don't have the knowledge myself for that kinda depth.

I noticed apparently there are some service sex animations in the animated files. I've never encountered any of them in my playthrough... How do you unlock them in game?
Here's some screenshots of those clips.

Can you kindly explain what exactly this does? like, using two translations online and offline at the same time, is that it?

Basically its to use instead of google, because it's translation quality is marginally better and it doesn't have random waits between 2-15 sec per translation. On my gpu it does about 10 translations a sec, I was even able to translate almost all of the Samurai Vandalism dialog with it in 2 hours (tho in this game's text displays differently, cant translate the whole game currently)

ok, after a few hours on the internet, I've managed to get sugoi with ct2 working and zamn, all the problems I had have gone away - it's fast, and doesn't randomly stop translating every other line. Don't even need to change to jp region, works fine with ntleas. Still mtl tho :HideThePain:
