I only managed to start recording halfway through but I finally managed to beat everything on Hard+Skull Crystal.
Lol @ the dude thinking this is a short game. Maybe on normal mode with latest updates yeah, but on 1.01 without the easy-mode-updates it took me this long.

If your GPU is chugging, set the targetfps and physicsfps to 60 in config.txt
If you keep dying in one hit, you bought the Red Skull Crystal. Read before buying.

It aactually kind of blows my mind how many people apparently just bought the instant death skull without reading that it instantly causes you to die. Like, it literally says what it does in the description. Absolutely mind blowing.

thanks for the help, even with all the rudeness. i misunderstood it as a consumable item and not passive effect. searching keywords involving the issue bring no results so clearly it's not a common enough issue. ^^

Any idea what bepin-bot.github.io is? I found that it's probably data mining bot by the patch.

Where/how did you spot this? I'm not super familiar with BepInEx, but it does have to have a few things running to apply mods to Unity games. bepin-bot.github.io doesn't lead anywhere, or turn up any results though.

Pretty sure it's unity itself, some unity games do prompt for firewall to "call home".
If the plugin was a dataminer, your CPU usage would skyrocket if i remember how dataminers work.
Anyway, you shouldn't worry, if you want to be 100% sure, just don't use the uncensor plugin.

Edit : I should add that the game still prompts you for firewall even without the uncensor installed.

I found a possible reason why the patch doesn't work. On the way to the game directory, there are characters other than English: Cyrillic, Japanese, etc. Check the path again.

Welcome to the Dark S~.., ehm, the Holy Knight Ricca gameplay as intended by the devs themselves lol. I also still on 1.01 and love every challenge on it.

So as usual writing is trash, theres no pacing, script is written by a bot that does the usual tropes and describes everything happening on the screen. Magic girl tropes stolen from madoka. To get scenes you need to die.
Since none of the dialogue is worth not skipping you just spend time killing enemies that get progressively more hp the more you level up your attacks. See enemy, run to it, press x, repeat for hours, enjoy.
3 first scenes were basically the same thing. Things rape, you die, now clear the thing without dying. Zero choices to be made.

Honestly, one of the worst games here. Developer certainly did take care of the visuals etc. but the gameplay is d*gshit. Do you enjoy being one-shot killed by the weakest enemies, even on the lowest difficulty? Do you enjoy boss battles where you can't attack for 5 minutes straight and enemies attack in sequence that is unavoidable? Do you enjoy useless blocking mechanic that let's entire damage in? Do you like raging in COD? That's the game for you.

And I made that mistake myself.... I am kinda ashemed to be honest.

Here is how it happened to me and probably to some others too.

Most (or all?) of the starter comsumebles have a long description saying nothing about the actual effect and the last sentence ONLY tells you what it does.
And for the death crystal it says "gives you a small amount of currency" in the final sentence.
So I bought it as a moneybag for an emergency... xD


On the other hand, some players didnt read anything at all and just shopped what they could.

Hmmm, that is odd. Though UnityDataMine doesn't look like it's mining from your computer either, it's a repository of Unity libraries and packages. Datamining in that context is a pretty innocuous activity, it's just people looking for new features or hidden information in a program, which is especially useful for modders to know.

It's mentioned many times, you can watch all scenes after you completed level. You don't need to lose for that. RMB on ❤ in mission selection screen and scene will unlocked, then LMB for watch.

Bought the game as I have heard it's awesome, has great story, good gameplay and great character development, etc. Accidently bought TWICE actually as I wrongly bought the JP version first. Got through chapter 1 and I was heartbroken by the goblin scene.

It's pretty ironic really as I usually enjoy noncon/corruption, and enjoyed a ton of Ambrosia, Celesphonia, Karryn's Prison and the WIP version of Night of Revenge. I thought Ricca is a similar game. However the game actually hurts my heart.

I think it has to do with how innocent and pure Ricca is represented (both physically and psychologically), how detailed the thoughts in her mind is written, and how realistic she is when facing the assault (oh no the crying). It really makes me feel like seeing a monster doing bad things to an innocent girl, and the feeling is realistic which is bad because rape IRL is BAD. All the other games I mentioned above in comparison kept well the gamey, fantasy feeling, accompanied with for example ridiculously JRPG-ish combat music, little to no realistic description of how the sexual assaults affects the main character (little to no crying, no detail description of long term trauma, the girls are quite quick to accept/enjoy, etc.), and how there is a stronger emphasis on the sexual side of rape, rather than the psychological ordeal of it. So I could actually enjoy those as hot porn (as fantasy) without feeling guilty (as IRL rape).

Not saying this game's realistic handling of the rape is a bad thing. It may totally work as a narrative tool to drive the development of the character. It could totally help players symphasize with the main character more. Unfortunately I am too weak and couldn't bear to see more things happening to her, especially after seeing Ci-en's description of golem scene, and knowing that worse things are out there.

Still not really regretting buying the game though, may play it when I'm in mood. But I think being horny is not the best mood to play this game for me lmao.

And that's why we love this game so much, there is not much game out there when you can fap while feeling guilty and simultaneously cursing the game difficulty and praise it at the same time lol.

Bounce the spell back to the caster. I love it when they die from their own spell lol.
